I did like it and I thought all the actors and actresses did such a wonderful job portraying their characters. However I was disappointed with Shang Ho and Leung Mo Shang's turn out though. Having them end up the way they were would have been so sweet and sent a better message. I mean what do you mean "fixed it"? What was there to fix when they were already perfect the way they were? I know it was made in 1997, but it still hits the wrong buttons when I see that part sadly. I would still watch it, but it wouldn't be considered a perfect movie in my book because of that.

This was actually not that great. The acting was kind of weird sometimes and the story sometimes jumped around. I hated the Murong girl's character and her little clingy lacky. Like oh my goodness girl. I don't know what kind of sob story you think you are portraying here but I'm not feeling it. You sound like a spoiled hypocritical adult brat who doesn't know when to grow up and you ain't got no character development at all. I can't believe they let her die in his hands like that. That was too good of an end for an abomination like her. Considering what she did, I am appalled that the main dude still liked her. I think he's an idiot, but I guess he likes those type of girls. I felt the most sympathy for the prostitute girl cause she really is just trying to provide for her and her family. But all these people look down on her and shit just cause of her job. Compared to all of them, she is the one with the most heart wrenching story and she is probably the strongest. She's a normal person with no martial arts or silver spoon to protect her and yet she still survives this long providing for her family. I'd like to see all those other a**holes try to do that. And they wanna act like they've been so wronged and shit. All the people that have to be around yah are the ones that are wronged. Especially that one maid that the annoying lacky killed just caused the Murong girl was trying to set them up. She didn't do shit and yah killed her. They are just terrible people and yet their ending was made to look so pretty and sad looking. Please, you are doing everyone a favor. Sorry for the long rant but my goodness, I just don't understand how anyone can like a person like the Murong girl and the lacky.

Can you spoil the ending of the pharmacist story for me? I saw a clip but only up until they both turned to look at her. Why were there two of him? And what was the relationship with the women? Was that his wife?
