Actually something in the rain is going through a series of remakes. There is an Indian one on line too. And even this one is probably something of a remake itself with its own cultural changes and not "plagiarized". And even I'm not a robot had it's Chinese remake recently with some of the popular stars.
Comment section is such a mess. Here's the thing, they were ignorant in portraying a generalised concept of the continent. But it's done and gone for 2 episodes and it was only a small plot device and definitely not something that they used to promote hate or racism intentionally. Yes exactly. And I don't have a problem with the theme of 'times change people change' BUT till episode 14 all they have shown is how perfect BYJ and HD are for eo and how they are soulmates. No matter what happens in the next 2 epis, they can't possibly convince us that HD found an equal good or even better love than BYJ and married that guy and had min chae. Idk it all seems so pointless and sad dude.

That completely ruins the flow. But what if it's JW? Let's say YR and JW got married and had a kid(min chae) and then YR ends up dead and this is when BYJ and HD are going through a rough rough patch so she bonds with JW over YR and other stuff and eventually get together and take care of the baby Although that doesn't explain the Kim surname again
