Okay, so the person who sold WSW the snakes sold them without their gall, making them essentially useless according to the show. He sold 2000 snakes for 200,000. This was the money WSW asked from CC.
WSW still bought them however as he knew CC would intervene.
CC ended up visiting the seller and reselling that guy his snakes - I think he resold 400 snakes as he basically threatened the guy by saying 200 snakes = 1000 snakes -
CC resold the snakes and got 400,000 from that. He then gave WSW half of that.
This is also how the seller gets scammed. He had 2000 snakes but in the end ended up with less snakes and even had to gift out 400,000. On top of that he couldn't refuse WSW when he came back to buy more snakes.

Try checking it out on kisskh. The texts are translated on there. Just the ones in ep 7 though. But it was roughly something about not having CC marry and have kids and that they're in love. WSW sent them to goad CC's mum into hurrying things up between CC and YY.

2 - CC loves his snakes, however his father took them to force CC to work and be more proper. In turn CC got himself a girlfriend to placate his parents until he finds his snakes.
3 - WSW started to learn about snakes and engage in buying/selling them so that he could appeal to CC.
4 - Until CC finds his snakes, he can't break up with the girlfriend. For WSW he needs CC and YY to break up thus his 2nd goal in wanting to help CC find his snakes. He knows as long as CC finds his snakes, he'll drop YY faster than a hot potato.
5 - Finding the snakes isn't going to happen soon though and in the meantime the mum might marry CC off - tho I doubt he'd let it happen - either ways, WSW eggs YY on to hurt little jealousy, have CC find out and drop her ass.
The snakes are very integral to the story whether for CC's interest, WSW's plotting, or CC eventually having to kill a dear snake for WSW.

After seeing the trailer for this, gotta say I agree with ya'll. Despite some cringe scenes, it overall seems like a good representation of omegaverse and I'm looking forward to it.
