I just don’t see who else would’ve been a better fit for Jiang Mu haha. It’s tough to act like a 20 year…
💯 accurate description of both of them but that’s why it worked visually and but also the way they are responding to each other acting style. I am also a conflict avoidance but can’t help myself this time 😉

You can’t replicate this sort of chemistry very often, even though hundreds and hundreds of dramas are being produced each year. It comes from the most crucial elements which are the actors' skill, preparation, and communications that allow them to create a convincing human connection that we can become emotionally invested in and in this case obsessed with 🤣 I don’t have issue with constructive criticism, but to constantly dismissed one lead and then say the chemistry is great is just too strange of an assessment.
A supposed legit and fair review lost its credibility the minute it gave all the praises to the ML, and resorted to calling the FL name ie: “duck face acting”. Though you said the chemistry is 9, then I guess the saying it takes two to tango doesn’t exist in your book! 🙄
I honestly wish people would give more grace to Esther because there’s a reason she’s popular and her acting…
You hit the nail on the head! I respect that people have different opinions but to say she can’t act and discrediting her for the success of this drama is insane! She is an actress who got popular because of her dramas but coming here calling her name is just pure hate. Their chemistry is rare and cannot be replicated easily. I personally can’t think of anyone else who can play Jin Zhao and Jiang Mu. Esther and He Yu are just perfect for the role!
