I'm assuming they wanted something more overt than just staring at one another even if I thought their looks at…
The chemistry for me was there from the moment they first met to the last moment they left on that bike. Every time they are together on the screen, it’s always full of tension and yearning.
I saw this analysis on Jiang Mu’s character and wholeheartedly can concur with it.
“Jiang Mu is a woman of courage, independence, sobriety, diligence, resilience and decisive action. I think the views on love conveyed in #SpeedAndLove are also worthy of young people’s reflection and learning. She is a girl who dares to follow her heart fearlessly. Once she realized she had fallen in love with Jin Zhao, she chose to express her love bravely and proactively. When obstacles stood in their way later on, she was never impulsive enough to abandon everything for love. She went out to see the world and met different people, but in the end, she found that no one else could ever stir her heart the way Jin Zhao did. When they met again, she still chose to follow her heart, determined to be with Jin Zhao.”
Jiang Mu in the first arc is a sheltered, innocent and young 19-20 years old, who likes to behave a little more childish with Jin Zhao, but very indifferent to other people, and she is always able to stand up for herself when a difficult situation arises. Then fast forward, you have Jiang Mu in the second arc, who is now a matured, independent, sassy 26 years old career woman, still loves fearlessly but also knows her worth.
I like the fact they have made some changes to Jiang Mu’s character compares to the book, and Esther has done an excellent job in both arcs.
Who’s is still camping here at the SAL nation? 🤣BTW did I just see someone mentioned there is no chemistry between leads? 😳😳😳We must have watched a very different drama, or our definition of chemistry is polar opposites!
They really went all in on the promotions for this one…
IQIYI did them dirty! No promotions at all whatsoever. Possibly never anticipated the show would be this successful. The cast did all the promoting themselves through livestreams, a music video and Thai Sweet.
Currently EP18:This is my opinion so far on this C-drama (not a final review).Basically, the ML is very handsome.…
What a great pick for your first Cdrama and so glad you are enjoying it! You will eventually see the FL character becomes more matured in the second arc and the ML will also go through a transformation. You will also notice that the FL only behaves cutesy with ML and with everyone else she is very direct and indifferent.
