I am in search of a ruthless and pragmatic main character who is willing to do anything to achieve their goals. Of course, TV series may not include extremely dark content, as that is typically reserved for novels. However, from TV standards, I am looking for something similar to
The Consultant, Narcos, Peaky Blinders, Dexter, Gen V, The Boys, Peacemaker, Mr. Robot, Girl from Nowhere, Black Mirror, House of the Dragon, Mary Kills People, The Fall of the House of Usher, Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities.
These are all TV series, and I've included only those that are well-regarded and popular. While I have more in my list, I believe these examples will suffice for requesting recommendations. I am using these examples to check if Korean dramas have any similar options.

i hope he uses his power in a better way, there is much more he can learn with that rich guy's body. sigh... at least i hope the series ends with him getting money at the end, as that was the main reason he even decided to change parents. so i hope either he gets some stocks-related info that can help him or in some other way, and idk why. he views things with a very simple view, even I as a viewer could see many problems in his thinking. Anyway, it's a good series, a mix of psychological genre, and fantasy/spoon ability part. so i am enjoying it
aigo i am waiting for ep 5. It's such a good series. And i like that i can relate to this ML. finally something other than cliche and cliche. Well though the spoon part is a pretty cliche in itself lmao. Overall it's a series worth watching.
