POPULARITY with basis - (should be based on statistics): *my own personal opinion – please respect and PEACE !!!!
TWITTER as a basis *seems biased for me - To wit : BL Couple A with combined twitter followers of 900k while BL couple B with combined followers of 2.4M Scenario: BL couple A can boast of competing with BL couple B and can even surpass them hmmm WTF how come? - some tweets reached by the millions BUT being tweeted by a few thousands or even hundreds - BL couple A with 100 die-hard fans tweeting 20X in one event as compared to BL couple B with 500 tweeting but will only tweet 2x to 3x … so how can you have a basis for popular BL couples? It is not that scientific on a first look. The silent majority that follows but never tweets.
I still believe, on twitter, the no. of followers is a good basis as compared to the no. of tweets. one(1) person exerted effort to FOLLOW the BL couple weather they will tweet or not. Me? I do not tweet but I follow. (again, tweets with hashtags that can be posted even to 100X by one (1) person and will bring it to the no. 1 spot most tweeted is good (don’t get me wrong) but by the effort of a few?!?!… I see a lot of these phrases: “how to tweet so it will be counted” “use the same hashtag on every response” “please retweet so it will be counted” - WTF? so is that popularity? An idol with twitter followers of less than 200k can compete with an idol with followers of over a million and because of a few that can tweet several times?? So that spells p-o-p-u-l-a-r-i-t-y and by the way, there is such thing as the silent majority
INSTAGRAM * good basis since you can only like once per posting - no. of followers is still a good basis BUT no, of likes is BETTER - you can like even if you’re not a follower but only counted as one (1) in every post so that is a good basis (my personal opinion) - some actors have been there for several years and yet the no. of followers is still less than 2M – they had several shows/appearances/fan meetings or good opportunities to showcase their skills yet they were not followed that much BUT the tweets are so high… I can gather 20 people to do that for me… - “it is not a big company that is backing them up: (for me i.e. B.S.) a 3.5 days series from a very less publicized company has generated more than half a million followers on Instagram for each of its MC. (if it was meant to be it will be) - for me, the no. of followers is second only to the no. of likes since an extra effort was shown by liking a posted picture and ratio is 1: 1 i.e. 1 like:1 person (weather fake accounts – that is still so much effort) unlike in tweeter in a considerable amount of time … a single person’s diverse response with the same hashtag is counted several times. - I saw several accounts with 8M to 9M followers in IG but the likes are less than 500k - wow with super silent fans? Check IG accounts and the average likes… that is popularity for me. - I saw IG followers of almost 1.5M but the likes are the same as an IG follower of 900k only - So where does popularity lies? - Note: by the way there still more FANS with no SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, that’s why some actors still become an endorser depending on their targeted market. Popularity is based on an actual survey then…
VIEWS on LINE TV and YOUTUBE – hmmm one can click and click and click and click so it will be counted. But again on this aspect, you may agree it is not that easy to just click and watch so the effort is recognized somehow BUT again…. - on youtube no. of “ thumbs up” count big for me since the ratio is 1:1 and the no, of views is secondary And of course “thumbs down and comments may also be considered but on a lesser value.
FACEBOOK / WEIBO / TIK TOK – same comment - how do you really judge popularity? On the no. of Followers per PLATFORM – 1 follower: 1 person so I guess it can be a basis. note: everyone had their chance during the days their shows were shown- did it increased? PLEASE do not tell that this show is better because of no, tweets? (personally questionable) because of viewership? (click click click) and ratings like here? - one can put 1 to lower the rating or put 10 to increase it BUT again I respect each and everyone hopefully unbiased ratings/opinions) where is the popularity then?
VOTES by liking or posting (again this is BS and biased) since you can post 6x a day or you can vote by paying this much? WOW!!! If I have 1M Bhat to support a bl couple in order for them to win versus fans that can generate 100k Bhat from their hard earn savings to support their idols. A BL couple with fans with so much time to like and like and like so it will be counted …. Versus fans who followed silently. (I know to be considered a fan- one should exert effort) Where is justice here? Where is the popularity here?
gifts being given by fans / placing ads everywhere / naming stars, trees, animals on behalf of their idol is a good indicator but again made by a group of fans for their idols (using their effort and money) / a die-hard fan invested a lot a of money for gifts and even billboard ads – she has the money to do it - so it means the BL couple is popular but done by one (1) person?
The no. of products being advertised counts big for me since the TRUST of 3rd party is there and I assume they did their research on how an actor can help their product.
On FAN SERVICE? - please TOO MUCH of it will have a negative effect but I guess to less of it is also has an effect… (sometimes I wonder- too much fan service is very similar or tantamount to fooling your fans… don’t make your fans IDIOTS… )

hmmm is it only me who noticed - slow pacing episode today, I love seeing a lot of dean/pharm but the story and hopefully other characters have to evolve also. and the flashback is repetitive (seen it several times ), I am a fan of korn (nine) - so I am ok with flashbacks but with newer and relevant scenes. .... peace

This is just my personal opinion and objectively stating what i see and felt on every scene of Korn/Nine and In/Earth i.e. it seems there is no chemistry at all. It seems Korn/Nine is just acting and forcing himself. For me, it seems Korn/Nine has the potential and a deep actor so i even followed him on instagram - i am his fan but this is not it.
I re watched all the scenes of Korn/In and tried to be objective (had same feeling every time) - can't feel the same Dean/Pharm chemistry which is so outstanding by the way...
Again, my personal opinion only.
Over all, it is still a good series and can't wait for the next episode (episode 8 is a let down for me though...)
