His visuals are a mix of Park Seo Joon and Yoon Shi Yoon with both of their energies... however, his acting skills for his age are beyond his years... his performances are powerful, realistic, over-the-top in some dramas in a realistic and enjoyable way that is a breath of fresh air. I hope that he chooses to return to acting despite all that he's gone through. I'm looking forward to him coming home where he should be allowed to shine in the entertainment world. Thank you for making me laugh, cry, sigh, and feel every emotion portrayed on screen... and if you choose not to return, please be happy, safe and enjoy every moment of life living it to the fullest. Everyone was born with the right to live life happily...

Well... I finally found the perfect kdrama... My very first kdrama was Moon Embraces The Sun... I haven't stopped binging them since. This drama has everything I've ever hoped for and more. I passed it up so many times because I honestly thought that there was no way the story would be good... the 2 male leads are absolutely amazing... the story is crazy off the charts good... I will be watching this one again and again. Perfect 10/10... would give it 1000 is that good. Whoever thought of this story and the plot is a genius!

It builds beautifully and it's rewarding to the viewer when it happens. No breakups but some separation for investigating. Actually, no real triangle in the traditional sense. Some parts are annoying, but it's expected. HE... but comes at a great price.

Not without sacrifice. It was well done and the fact the FL stayed true to her word was well played.

I don't think there will ever be another Cdrama that will compare to this one. I've never watched a Cdrama without fast forwarding or skipping a few episodes... this one had me watching every moment. Didn't like the princess character at all, but understand why the character was needed. Emperor was a piece of work... so was the ML's father... both leaders were unredeemable. I found myself actually wanting more even after 38 episodes. CZY and Li Qin's chemistry was pure perfection and their characters stayed true to who they really were. And the fact that men and women were treated as equals on the battlefield was refreshing. No going easy just because of your gender. The writers and directors have my respect!
