I had no idea RWTMR was almost done filming. shoutout to their production team, they really deserve some love for that

the issue seems a bit more complex than just the actor's brand value tho. and I just googled their budget and you're right, the budget is more than 3 times.

other deciding factor I think is sponsor. sageuk as you know usually don’t have PPLs, which means fewer sponsors, so renegotiating can be quite easy

but I still have a bit of hope for this drama. disney+ is a vod, so they got more leeway. they’ve got some time to fix things, whether that means recasting & refilming, or I don't know deepfake him maybe

I was eager to watch this drama, but this whole shitshow had to happen.

I had a hope they would replace him and retake the scenes just like what happened in "River Where the Moon Rises" but it's too bad they've already finished filming season 1. Refilming is close to impossible

nothing wrong with the ppl, they sponsored the show after all. compared to other countries' drama, south korean ppl is pretty mild. I prefer ppl being integrated into the scene rather than watching 20 minutes of unrelated ads.

also this particular case is a win for a car enthusiast like me. I spent more than 10 minutes trying to find out what car Lee Jun-ho drove in extraordinary attorney woo after all. I would be glad if the characters themselves mention the make and type so I don't have to scour the internet because IMCDB isn't updated yet

I have just watched A Time Called You and I promptly made an MDL account because of Jeon Yeo-Bin, she is such a good actress. Before ATCY I thought of her only as decent actress and she's good at portraying professional, serious, or sad character but I was wrong, THIS GIRL IS VERSATILE. She perfectly captured cute and bubbly high school student in her character in the drama, while splendidly playing gloomy teenager as well. I guess I'll be binge watching her works for the next couple months.
