No, the drama's storyline isn't about WuXia, neither paranormal genre. It's about two orphan boys adopted by the…
Excuse me, are you so sure is in modern day's Malacca ? Had you really been to Malaysia ? Just because your so called 'friend' showed you some book, and you just believed in these nonsense ? Stop commenting nonsense and insults about my country ! And don't insult about Malaysian's ancestorships or the Malay archipelago okay ? Since from my ancient ancestors till myself, I (we) was and are Muslims since half a millennium ago, regardless is the era of uncivilized or in modern days now. And I'm talking about in the reality, not about that drama. So if you don't know a sh*t about my country's history, religions, cultures, practices and living conditions, please Shut Up Your Big Mouth ! Or else I'll lodge a complain on you arrogant fool insulting my country and my religion as a Muslim with disrespects. Don't made me hunt you down !

Hi, may I suggest ? If you thinks my suggestion is not your interest, then, just ignores it. I don't meant to…
It’s not sensitive at all, after all you are very polite! =) It’s actually from Chinese term “silence” as 安静; Iam learning Chinese language and one of the first words I easily learned was this one. it also sound like pretty nickname so I picked it as introverted person who like peace and silence. For Chinese person i think this would sound dumbly as native name. I’m from Eastern Europe, as native. Actually as I think it also does sound a bit like my native name, as it’s involves the first letter A, and my surname involves Ji. (Because of privacy I cannot say full name) But it wouldn’t have specific meaning, so An Jing sounds more beautiful :-)
I agreed with what you'd commented. The part I personally dislike the most is, it gets audiences stirring up our…
That is what I felt as well- fury. It was to the point that halfway through I wanted to kill the FL myself and hoped they'd all die in the end. LOL. Waste, indeed.

I also would recommend the first 11 episodes of Footprints of Change with Cheng lei! it was good and short watch, but I heard many comments that later arcs weren’t as good as the first one, so I didn’t watch further!

In my opinion, this drama isn't bad, but it can't really be called great either. Why? Because:
1. The main leads are currently rising in popularity, especially ZLH! He has so many obsessed fans now, so naturally, a lot of people were waiting for this! 2. The female lead (WCR) is insanely gorgeous. In her previous drama, her visual aura wasn't 100% unleashed yet. I know there are many beautiful actresses out there, but I think Wang Churan's outfits here are top-tier and really match her expensive aura! 3. Tons of clips circulated before the drama even aired—a.k.a. promotional videos—which raised fans' expectations even higher. The Reuters/behind-the-scenes clips looked amazing, and if you watched the teaser or trailer... you'd honestly think this series was going to be mind-blowing!
What really confuses me though is that their BTS clips and real-life interactions show insane chemistry, but in the show itself, it falls flat. I unironically enjoyed the second couple's chemistry (Xu Zhenxuan and Wang Zisu) way more, even though both couples serve that love-hate dynamic!
So basically, fans' expectations were set way too high (including mine), which I think is totally valid given how they promoted it. This series is still worth watching, but it's definitely not a top-tier drama...
But honestly, besides Overdo, there are still plenty of dramas that raised high expectations yet managed to exceed them—like POJ (5M reservations?), MOLI (5M?), and VOS (3M?), The First Frost (over 7.5M), CMIIW
Oh right, a quick thought on TFF....even with all the hype, so many people were lowkey skeptical about whether BJT could deliver as SANG YAN... he even got hate for it just because people were biased toward the Hidden Love's Sang Yan. You know how toxic hardcore fans can be...Personally, I wasn't worried at all. I’ve seen enough of BJT’s dramas before TFF to know he was gonna nail the role of Sang Yan completely!
And yeah, he totally proved them wrong! That’s honestly why TFF still managed to blow past expectations, despite how high the bar was set by fans (especially the Hidden Love fandom)!
months of anticipation for this?! I'm feeling really sad honestly, this was too melancholic of a waste of this whole setup, visuals and budget. all the characters were basically competing for the "most insufferable" position, i wont even go there. the ML has brought all the miseries in the world with him, and every freaking character (including the FL) is hellbent on adding more to it. the story keeps getting worse just when you think it can't get any more awful. miscommunication trope is a no go for me, and this drama takes the cake on this! can't believe i rated a drama with ZLH in it 3/10. i thought i could savor anything with his visuals, apparently stories are much more important to me (thankfully). i feel really sorry for my excited self who was counting days for this drama to come out 🙁
