I am feeling this way for a long time, not sure how to articulate it. So, please don't mind and consider this a rant and carry on. I have been thinking about Jiang Tian for a long time and kinda relates with him the most. sometimes, I also think both Sheng wang and Jiang tian are in me just at different proportions in different situations. I went back to read the book to just know that he had a happy ending. But is it ok to think Jiang tian deserves happiness? I have read a lot of books except the main characters we dont get to see what happens with others. But lots of stories has one characters who was suffering from a young age but never get to vocalise it, or never had the courage to say things. That trait is portrayed to be their fault and then becomes justified to be the reason why they never got the happy ending. What if Jiang tian or Sheng wang becomes those type of characters. Can they wish for happiness even if if they didnt deserve it. Is it okay to wish for happiness even if that character is not really deserving?
Not sure about the episode number, but the scene where the boys moves into dorm for the first time and Jiang Tian finally opens his suitcase to bring out all his things. The way the scene was scripted, shot and the entirety of the feeling of belonging somewhere even if its only until the year end. Sheng wang's understanding of how much this means to Jiang tian everything about this episode hits home for an unknown reason
Everyone talking about season 2? Did we get any official update? I kinda remember the director has already mentioned that the script was ready for 2 even when they were working on season 1. So, the pictures of the scripts was ready when they were shooting for season 1. Not to discourage people here just wanted to be sure of the announcement

All, I am new to all this but I am doing this just to get my mind off things. This is 'The On1y' show for me until now where I felt compelled to participate in sharing opinions.
This is giving me a headache, why do we have to wait until February, I have postponed watching the show until we get an announcement on season 2. Still I went and read the book (a few times already) from some app. I am a fan of books where the plotline is explained in all the senses be it the characters, the development of persona for the characters, the subplot lines, the places, the food and climate where the characters live. Being a book reader is more on the downside when it comes to nice stories, as we will never get satisfied when the book is getting visualized. But I am just craving to see the happy ending Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian more than anything now
I have been living on this comments section for further update for months now, this is all new to me as I was always able to separate the fantasy and real life. My country and region is very famous for doing all the 'slice of life' stories but I have always seen them to be either to dramatic or not so real lifey. This overwhelming feeling is too much to handle at times and I spend hours thinking about how the people live in this story.
I have never been a fan of any actor consistently its mostly seasonal. But, Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian is going to live in my mind probably until probably my last breath. This may feel exaggerated even I have seen comments like this for other shows and thought all this is bull shit. But you really "have to meet your right person" by the words of Sheng Wang to get the adrenaline . hope am able to sleep today after ranting everything here. Hope So!!!
