That is true. I just get the bad feeling that he wanted him to stay away. But it could've been that the dad wants him to have a good spot in a company before attemtping to be with his son.

I was questioning what promise Gao Shi De made but then at the end, the dad came in and I think I have a good idea now. I think the dad contacted Gao Shi De while he was in the US to stay away from his son so that he could take over his company or just focus on his job. Which Gao Shi De agreed to because he knew that Zhou Shu Yi needed to focus on his work or GSD just thought he was helping ZSY. But in the end, ZSY just needed GSD to be there for him. This show has a hold on my heart and idk what to do.
