Oh, what a nice surprise. I have liked a lot this part as well, although the tone is more serious, but as you say in your post, our lives aren't funny and pretty.

For me, the worst things are: internet problems, rivalry and plagiarism.
The first one makes me feel that I can climb the walls because of the nerves because I watch a lot of dramas at the same time, so you can imagine hahahahahahaha.
The second one: We like make the best work as possible and take our time to offer good projects, instead of kill Spanish like others make.
The third: We have faced that because there were people who stole our jobs and that's very infuriating. I said to my friend that I was going to hang them from mizzenmast because of that.
The solution for the lack of time: don't sleep hahahahahahahahaha.
In regards of the Chinese, it hasn't been a lot since I began to watch Chinese dramas and I realised the difficulty of that language and the herculean job that translators have to do,
There is a phrase that I like a lot and is: "Tradutore, traditore" (translator, betrayer).
Is like you say, there are words that doesn't exist in other languages so you have to use another words or phrases that are the nearest possible to the original, but sometimes is totally impossible and you write in a way that sounds and be meaningful in your language and then you add a note explaining what they are really saying.

I hope I haven't made any mistake with my English grammar ^^'''

I have read a lot of sagas, and some of them, are very long, pero I think that one of them could be: The Wallflowers by Lisa Kleypas. Only four books, so it would be easy to make it to the modern days.
Ah, another one would be, the Cynster, by Stephanie Laurens, but that saga is very long, so the best would be center around the six cousins Cynster. If my memory doesn't fail.
I have another sagas that I like a lot, but it's impossible to make in Korean drama because of the theme T______T

I liked so much your post because you have written the truth about our hard lifes, yes, I'm translator too, in my case, Spanish translator, and our projects can take more than three months because we have various projects at the same time.
The part that I hate the most is when there are flashbacks, because you can go crazy searching for them, like in "Signal" (Korean version), when I cursed each time there was one.
I hope you can continue with your work for a long time and enjoying each project you'll chose ^^
