I know the group is already made but I just got around to watching this. Watched part one and so far I definitely see the talent. Was sick of hearing the same songs being used for auditions, episodes 1-4. Am I the only one who thought JYP didn't know what he was talking about sometimes. I'm definitely not a 'professional' but I thought some of the ones he criticized weren't bad at singing/dancing as he said.
Just rewatched, still one of the best BLs. I love Ji Sub and Jun taek acting together, I need to see them in another series, the chemistry and feels. The main couple just let their relationship naturally unfold and it was a nice change to not have the characters questioning if they were gay and freaking out. This series did so well showing the struggles of mental health, and while therapy can help it doesn't fix it automatically (if ever) or it's not right for everyone. Why was everyone encouraging both Ji Hyun and Jae won to just get together with anyone and not be picky? Way too casual and loose morals. Ji Hyuns friend Joon pyo he was so annoying to me, he was pushy, nosey and always in the way. Ae ri I don't think she just wanted to be friends, she was making Ji hyun uncomfortable clinging to him. Same as Eun Ji she just ain't getting that it's over between her and Jae won, too entitled and a bitch. Plus what a shitty friend Tae hyung was, constantly going against Jae wons wishes and making him be around Eun Ji. All of Jae wons friends acting like he has the best life and being rude about it too. All these people are going to be in an early grave with all that drinking.
Had to watch it in fast-forward because of the slow pacing. Show wasn't anything special and kinda cheesy but still glad I watched it. Guy was annoying, begging Thiu to stay and trying to guilt trip him. I had a feeling the girl was a cop since she gave her card. Whal I knew was going to confess feelings eventually but it was too late by then. Also last episode with Guy chewing with his mouth open eww.
Shows the reality of how evil the military and government is. Hyun soo didn't have much scenes but he's such a great actor. But why in the heck would he voluntarily surrender himself to be experimented on, glad it didn't last long though. That doctor was a psycho, he enjoyed experimenting on them. He better die in the end. Ui-myeong was actually pretty smart and although he was a killer I have some hope for him. He definitely got some kind of plan. I hope he gets some well deserved revenge on that doctor. Sang wook I kept hoping he would somehow be alive. Yi kyung giving birth and it turning out to be half monster was a turn of events. But then they ruined it by her own daughter turning her. She now seems to want to exterminate monsters, plus she's trapped in a mental nightmare. She definitely wouldn't want to become a monster so hopefully someone puts her out of her misery. As for Eun Hyun I'm not sure what his role is going to be in S3 but hopefully he's not a psycho.
Best characters were Hyun soo, who never did anything wrong for people to treat him like garbage. He was taken for granted and used by most of the humans. Sang wook was badass, I'm glad he turned out to be a good guy. Hopefully next season he gets control of his body. Eun yoo was honest and blunt, I hoped she'd get with Sang wook or Hyun soo. I didn't like Eun Hyun, he was manipulative and I dread him coming back in S2. Unless he's going to be like Hyun su.
I wasn't into the romance aspect they put in here. I wish they cut out Soo jung and Seung tak romance parts. Seung tak and young min were funny, they carried this drama. Ah tae hyun I knew right away was suspicious. Ghost plots usually suck as they are poorly done and corny but this was ok. While this isn't the best in it's field it's bearable. Just wish it wasn't so long. Also the kids and females crying were so annoying, overdramatic.
Gyeol is the only one in his family that can hear, it can be a burden and a blessing at times. When his father's expectations of him becoming a doctor isn't what Gyeol wants, his father blows up at him. Gyeol is sent back in the past which causes the future to change. He meets his mother Cheong ah who is abused, ignored by her father and everyone is mean to her because of being deaf. Yi Chan, his father who surprisingly isn't deaf at the time is a irrational teenager and obsessed with someone other than Cheong ha. His behavior is so childish and I understood Gyeols frustration trying to get him to listen. A surprising twist is Eun Yu who is from the current time also goes back into the past. She takes her mom Se Kyeong's place as they looked identical at that age. This plot took me awhile to wrap my head around. Her mother is an alcoholic and father has moved on from them. As for Se Kyeong she was adopted to replace her adopted parents child who died. She tried to be everything they wanted her to be and unfortunately never lived how she wanted too. Her father was the music store owner. Best scene is when Gyeol finds Cheong in the attic. So emotional ðŸ˜. In the end they both go back to present time. Gyeol couldn't prevent his father's hearing loss but instead his mother has a good relationship with her father and eventually their family becomes rich instead of poor.
Who else cringed everytime they spoke English, which was a lot. Mo yeon was arrogant just like a real doctor. She cried too much. Also what did she and Shijin think was going to happen when your getting in the way of a gang. LOL I didn't really like her character. As a doctor it's better not to get emotionally involved while also being professional. Shi jin did good protecting people but was not good at following orders. That's what the military is about. I felt bad for him as Moyeon was wishy-washy on whether she wanted to be with him. I know not everyone can be with someone who has a high risk job but damn make up your mind. Myung joo using her rank aginst her ex irked me. If you love something you hold on but she was very desperate. As for Dae young I get as to why he kept his distance from Myung joo. Her father and also for themselves, like their career. Glad they got back together. Loved the scene with them in her father's office telling him she's pregnant and getting married. Chihoon didn't need to feel guilty for running away in the collapsing building. He's just a doctor, some patients you can't save. Especially at the risk of your own life.
Finally finished this show. Been on my list since it came out. All 7 stories have two episodes each focusing on a couple. I numbered them by what I thought was better. My favorite pairing was Puth/Kaeng. For the first couple Tue and Ake, it was okay but felt forced. They hated each other then they suddenly were nice to each other, doesn't happen that fast. #5 Second couple I love their chemistry but the plot sometimes didn't flow that well. Sun at first had a fierce personality but then became shy. Nuea was such a flirt, he looked amazing with all them outfits. Wished they kissed more. #2 Mon/Team story was so cringy. Team went after him because he was a virgin to score points for a game, so disgusting. Also shows no matter how you try to warn someone they don't listen. I wish Team didn't go thru with their first night together. I would've like this couple more if that first time wasn't forever ruined for Mon. #3 As for Thurs and Pao/Pae I hate ghost stories, they are always done badly. Some people could see the ghost then others couldn't, smh. It was all to prevent Pae death. Story was pointless, it didn't intertwine like the others. #7 Puth and Kaeng damn the sexual chemistry they had was off the charts. Both of them are playboys but Kaeng falls first. Ugh the heartache between them really tugged at my heart strings. #1 Sixth story about Sat as a kid wished to be 18 then is stuck in a older body but no memory of the last 7 years. He's friends with the popular group like he wanted but his old friend Choke is estranged. Spoke way too much English, bad crying, nasty ketchup scene. Sat was always acting cute but the actor doesn't fit that. Couple didn't tie into any of the other stories. #4 Tir was Masuk's boyfriend but he died, Masuk blames himself as he neglected his boyfriend. Jia is Masuk's boss and they get together. Kinda boring. #6 I wish they paired Payu up with one of the couples. Like Thurs or Masuk instead.Sixth story could've just been deleted as it was unnecessary.
What a mess. They should've wrapped it up at one season, it was dragged on too long. I felt the really bad for Phai. Last season he was was in love with Thanu but he decided to step back. It was sad. I wanted him together with Thanu. I didn't like Thanu with Wayu, he was annoying and a crybaby. Pha not telling Wayu he's about to die and breaking up with him. Ugh while I don't like Wayu, keeping him in the dark and not given the chance to spend the rest of his time with his first love. Kit wasn't as bad as some people said. Yes he neglected Mark and put Pha before their relationship but he was about to die so I think it's justified. Although I thought them testing out being apart in case Kit goes abroad was kinda wasteful. Still I they had the healthiest relationship out of the other couples. As for Tong and Pok I'm glad they fixed their relationship as I liked that couple the most. We all saw Jack and Ko getting together. Haha Sandee was manipulative and sneaky but suddenly has a change of heart by Phai talking to him. Not realistic.
Mark/Kit were wholesome and I enjoyed their relationship. It was nothing very passionate but still cute none the less. Wayu/Thanu /Phai was a mess. Thanu was stringing both of them on and it was sickening to see him not make up his mind or be truthful at least. They both were getting their hopes up then crushed when he was busy with the other. I liked Thanu and Phai together. Seeing Phai longing to be with Thanu was depressing though. Pok/Tong in the beginning I liked but near the end it got a little confusing. Why were they arguing then moving in together. As for the rest of the series it was meh. You can have a plot that's been done alot but something needs to be special. This series didn't have it.
Not what I expected but I still liked it. It was more comedy and corniness than a romance I thought. The last episode with the announcement scene was such a overdid dramatic show. It was a bit too extra, if they toned down the jesting I probably would've loved it. As for the main couple I thought they did pretty good. Kisses were kinda boring, especially on her part. I felt such second lead syndrome. They just paired him at the end with that one girl, I wish they showed them actually building chemistry.
i just caught up with this series after neglecting it for a while, i have to say my rating and opinions from the…
Yeah the lip kisses weren't that bad, I've seen way worse. Like you said they are supposed to be high schoolers so they shouldn't be kissing like pros and french kissing. Lol. I thought the neck kisses n all that were so cute and heartwarming. They portrayed their connection thru other means.
Loved it. Even though the kisses were a bit awkward I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the series. Every series…
Guy and Nawa, at least they actually become a couple at the last episode. But I think they shouldn't have made them a romantic pair, they were better as friends. Name and Saifah I actually liked together so I'm happy with the hinted eventually romance. Napdao and Pimfah were just queer baiting, plus I'm sick of BLs adding a lesbian couple just for the hell of it, unnecessary.
Loved it. Even though the kisses were a bit awkward I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the series. Every series has things I would change for the better though. Kanghan and Sailom were so cute together and they resolved their problems pretty quickly. The series made me laugh alot but also had my heart aching for the main couple whenever they were going thru rough patches. Shower scene was so sad when Sailom said 'I thought I had no one left' ugh I cried ? I had a feeling as soon as Saifah and Name reconnected they were going to get themselves into a mess. In the end it was all resolved with a happy ending. School bullying does happen and it can get very bad like this but unfortunately it usually doesn't get resolved. Also corrupt teachers, favoring some students letting them get away with things. But probably would've been more realistic if the principal was in on it. What was so unrealistic was when Sailom was drugged then suddenly clearheaded when he was splashed with water. All the side couples was overkill. I was fine with one side couple but they did too much baiting.
While I agree this was a overly hyped up drama, it mostly lived up to it. I love that it was only half hour for each episode, it didn't drag on but I feel like they could've added more plot and scenes to the series. I definitely would've loved to seen the actors do a better job on the bed scenes. They were great at kissing but that's all they stuck to. Also a scene one of the couples going on a date or showing what they did the day Rui and Zongyi ended up getting chased since it was a time jump that day. Overall though a pretty good bl series. Not the best but close to it.
So cute. I loved the actors they chose and while the plot wasn't that unique they still did a good job of portraying their characters. Kiss was decent, not overly drawn out but they didn't really show them kiss and they didn't move much. Happy ending but I don't think a second season is necessary.
I didn't like Eun Hyun, he was manipulative and I dread him coming back in S2. Unless he's going to be like Hyun su.
