This show was very hard to watch due to the female lead, especially in the beginning. Princess was very annoying, I don't condone violence but for this person she needed to be beaten down and humbled. She had ML trying to protect her many times but she constantly makes him into the bad guy. Even at the end when he was involved with her mother's situation, blown way out of proportion, queen would've been deposed either way. The only thing she was good at is being a good sister. I felt so bad for male lead Gyun woo as he kept getting insulted and poorly treated, he kept trying to defend himself to no avail. He was a good person and didn't cave to money or threats. I was sad for him when she rejected him just to study. Replaced queen was power hungry so I'm glad she's dead. All the bad guys died or were imprisoned, and thankfully the left ministers daughter was made a slave/demoted in life. She was a snake. Gyun woo's sister was a brat, I feel she should've gotten some karma for all the tattling and sneaky behavior. The grandmother was a weak pushover too.
Took me forever to start this drama and I remember why now. Main couple Mek and Kim didn't have that connection, it was like watching two strangers with zero attraction to each other. So boring and it was uncomfortable to watch the main guys kiss, cringe. Plus a few sorrys don't make up for hurting someone, Kim was right to go off on him. Then they kiss and stuff right away once they realize their feelings, way too soon. Lee and park together for 7 years and none of their friends knew of their relationship that's just crazy. Mek and Beat were irritating, so full of themselves and all their pranking was annoying. So immature, they're supposed to be seniors. Lol. That type of guy is a turn off so I can't see how anyone fell for them. Principal should get fired for threatening them. Kim actually didn't do anything wrong so grounds for expulsion would be unlawful. Mek should've gotten expelled for intentionally causing harm and all the ruckus he's caused. It would've been a better show if they didn't turn the main couple into a relationship and just showed how far people will go for fame. Faking relationships. Put more focus on the secret couple Lee/Park and Mai/Tim.
Nothing too exciting about this drama but was watchable. Mork was a decent guy but fighting the guy his ex girlfriend broke up with him for, ridiculous. I don't get why people fight the other person not the girlfriend/boyfriend. It wasn't even specific if she cheated, I'm assuming she did though. Plus Mork always ways imitated fighting people, not attractive in a person. Still Tawan and him were cute together. Tawan and his boyfriend Por were a mess. Por did all this romantic things trying to be in a relationship but then to cheat. I get Tawan as a boyfriend wasn't what Por thought it'd be but that's what breaking up is for. Por had many chances to end the relationship, as his long-term boyfriend said also.
I completely understand where you are coming from. As I myself was a bit torn which story I liked more in the…
Yes I watched Between us when it came out. I love that couple. I know, Norul and Boss went all out for this series, they showed raw passion without exposing much. I think I liked Sky and Prapai more cuz they had such a intense mental and emotional relationship.
I loved this couple from the first season better. This season was just a mess. I still enjoyed it but all of the characters were lying, hypocrites and were running away from their problems. Damian and Jerry getting married at the end was sweet but the series ignored all their problems. Yes they came to a decision to not have another kid but Damian is still at risk of his sponsor pulling out cuz Jerry couldn't take the videos down. And they don't see eye to eye on Jerry's YT channel, Kai's well-being from being roped into it. I felt bad for Jimmy as he was always getting yelled at it seemed, they took their frustrations out on him. I was a little worried for a second when the ex wife came then Jerry pulled away from his family, and when Jerry and his high school crush kept meeting up. Jerry was very childish, yes he's a great dad to Kai and he did the right thing by taking a three month break when he found out about Jimmy, but he was so stubborn whenever things weren't going his way.
I loved the second couple, JiYi and Changsoo. They were together because they truly fell for each other and were honest from the start. It was heartbreaking to watch when they broke up because of his mother. When he showed how devastated he was in front of his mom about Jiyi it was so painful. Parents always say they are doing things for their childrens best interest but it only beaks their parent/child relationship apart. So glad that couple had a happy ending, they deserved it. On the other hand Joon ki was pissing me off. I knew from the start he was a gold digger, only with Yoon ha because of her family fame and that doesn't sit well with me. No matter how they tried to spin that he changed and fell for her. I was really hoping he would get karma but he barely got a slap on the wrist. It was starting to get annoying as Joon ki kept making excuses for his actions. Saying how is Changsoo any different trying to marry Yoon ha or making wealthy connections, because Changsoo made his intentions clear from the start. And JiYi defending Joon ki to Yoon ha and becoming cozy with him, it was disgusting behavior.
Just finished watching, I wasn't expecting much but it turned out better than I thought. Main couple had decent chemistry, not off the charts but the kiss definitely saved the romance aspect. I could feel their attraction they were portraying but damn did they take forever to get there. I absolutely hate Han Barams ex crush, he was a slimy piece of garbage. Trying to smooth talk then threaten him from revealing the real song writer. So glad Im Hantae didn't let it slide. I noticed in a lot of BLs a lot of bad characters get away with shady stuff and don't face consequences.
Beautiful! KristGawin were an amazing couple. I never expected to see Krist do a bl again but I'm very impressed and he definitely improved on his acting. I came into the show not expecting much but wow at the end I was blown away by how lovely this series was. Their kisses were so immersive and I kept hoping for more. They can kiss all episode and I'd be fine with that😍. I had many favorite parts but I loved when the main couple were in bed (ep10) and Kawi took the initiative to hold Pisaengs hand. Also when Pisaeng went back in time to spend time with Kawi, adorable. The significance of them always holding each other's had was so lovely, when you love someone you guys are in it together, leaning on each other, communication and just looking forward to the simplicity of spending time together. Pisaeng was such a good guy, he was always helping Kawi. But I felt so bad for him as he kept waiting for Kawi to like him and was being strung along, so heartbreaking as it happens irl. It was so relatable when Pisaeng was in the process of changing his mindset and thus friend group. Not everyone stays the same, their lifestyle, personality or way of thinking. Kawi on the other hand was out in la la land. Hoping to make his life perfect, well as he though it should go to make himself happy. He did have a couple moments of wisdom and eventually realized what he truly couldn't live without, Pisaeng. It's unfortunately true that people think getting something they think they want will make them happy. Some things you can't control in life as is in his father's case. Spend as much time as you can with your loved ones, time is not a given part of life. Side characters did great and played their part, especially Max, no one overshadowed the main couple so I think that why it turned out so great. Mor time for main leads. All them guys were turning into alcoholics with all that drinking.
I really disliked Wins personality. He was such a prick to Korn. I kinda get where he was coming from about the inheritance thing because he isn't family but Korn grew up together with Win at the farm so I thought it wasn't that big of a deal. I actually didn't suspect the mom had involvement in that or how greedy she was and selfish to try and break them apart, before they could even become a couple too. I guess it runs in the family as the aunt and uncle are sinister too. Also they forgave her after a bit of tears from her, pathetic. As for Korn he was such a great guy, he let Win take his anger out on him and took care of him even when Win was nasty. I honestly don't think Win deserves him but they were still cute together. The first kids was creepy as it was Lin's body, I know it was only a kiss but I'd still be upset if that was my body. Last kiss definitely made up for all the chemistry thur the whole series. Lessons to remember is tell someone your feeling wether romantic or not as soon as possible. Also if you are leaving a will don't have too many people in charge of one thing, like property as too many people complicate things and will leave your family fighting, torn apart and stressed.
While I appreciate the "extra" with all the dates and sweet moments between the leads, this could be better if…
Yes it was so long. I've seen dramas and TV shows WAY longer than this though but as it's a rom com you can only do so much with the plot. Plus with so many malicious characters it made it drop some points for that.
Main leads had great chemistry and I enjoyed all their scenes together, wedding was pretty. But it kinda dragged on and she was unnecessarily mean to him sometimes. Plus Sa rang not telling Won about getting reassigned isn't a couple move, she probably didn't want to worry him but still. When I thought she was breaking up with him in the second to last episode it infuriated me. A lot of shows do that in the second to last episode for some reason but it's always disappointing, the female lead(usually) giving up because of hardship in the relationship means it won't last long. Seeing as that wasn't the case gave me a sigh or relief. I was so glad Rowoon and Pyonghwa got together in the end. I felt bad for Daeul but then she got her act together and put her husband in his place. I was so annoyed at all the shitty characters though. From pretty much everyone's coworkers, the half sister, his father, the ex boyfriend, mother and the secretary. Half sister was one of the worst, jealousy then being a bitter bi*ch. Not only horrible to her own son but everyone, then they had to go and try to make her have a change of heart. Haha that doesn't happen in real life, it's unlikely someone to change their outlook in life. Wons family was garbage, his father only thinks of money and his sister is selfish. I was really hoping she got some karma thrown at her, worse than only divorce and losing the company. As for Wons secretary I think he was on a power trip, they tried to portray him as Wons friend but he wasn't even good at that either. I would've fired him long ago.
Series was okay. Not as great as it could've been but I've watched way worse. Itt was so childish, constantly whining about cake and if he didn't get his way. But not as bad as other leads I've seen who were unbearable to watch. Both Itt/day and Nan/Mac were toxic and over all bad boyfriends. Day had some good points and at the end Itt was trying to improve on himself. The other couples were so cute to see. Especially Night/gear. I'm so sick of all the people passing out, and when a character passes out the other person acts like their is dying. Also when the doctor said panic attack were fatal. LOL. I thought the fight scene from last ep was stupid and P as a evil jealous guy character was pretty dumb. Plus the fortune teller was so fake, it had me skipping them parts. Wedding at the end was so rushed but it's still nice to see bl weddings in series.
So true! I don't understand the hate that Ben got here ,this is after-all his first show and he delivered as far…
I never read the novels and probably won't, but I hate when they leave out great parts from the novels. Plus it sounds like they didn't fully show the main couples relationship like the novels. I know they can't put everything in the series, as it only has so much time. But the people who make these series don't always give the fans what they want! Love, wedding and a happy ending. It's hard to make a perfect series at all because everyone has different expectations but lots drop the ball. Whether it's acting, plot, chemistry or video quality.
Series was decent, but very very long wait to see some romance between main couple. And it was only the last couple episodes, I really wanted more. I actually wasn't that annoyed with Pat as other people were. Yes he's immature, he doesn't stand up for himself and cries too much, yes its good to cry but not everytime something isn't going your way. I was annoyed when his ex came into the picture and they even tried again after so many years, then he went on to repeat history with another boyfriend. Keng and Pat were so cute together together, I stayed mainly for Keng and that it was a happy ending. Series focused a lot on work problems and Pat/Put story. Plus they spoke unnecessary English too much, just didn't fit. Last episode was kinda all over the place. As for Jaab/Jane couple I don't condone cheating so it wasn't a lovely couple I could get into. Jaab was very irritating to me, so childish. Plus they didn't finish their story and they were so hot and cold to each other.
I was really hesitant to watch this series as I am disgusted with a happy ending when their is a cheating plot. Yes it was a kiss only but Teh was emotionally in love. Teh was a shitty person to me, not only was he mean to his boyfriend but everyone around him. People change as time goes on, that includes loving someone and what career you want to do. As Teh started leaving his boyfriend in the dust then growing feelings for Jai it was so frustrating to watch him making them mistakes. At first I thought Jai did have feelings for him too from the vibe he gave and when they kissed but I knew he just was thinking about his play. He definitely knew Teh was catching feelings. I was so pissed when Teh showed up to be intimate with Oh (ep3), after constantly ignoring him, only to help improve his acting. When he confessed what did he think was going to happen he'd date both of them. Lol. It was brutal the way Jai turned him down but he deserved it. Oh-aew I felt so bad for him in this whole series. He was so lonely and disconnected from his environment. So glad he made friends and came out of his shell, became independent and it was awesome to see. He gave his boyfriend space but still made an effort to be together, unlike Teh. When he caught Teh cheating he didn't rush in or yell at him, he gave him the benefit of the doubt, it was so heartbreaking to watch. When Oh was with his friends crying as they hugged him it was so beautiful, made me cry too 😭. I truly believe they aren't meant to be but it's so realistic that people keep trying forever until they waste 10+ years on one person.
What about tar and tum? I am still wondering that if tum knew that tar is his step brother then why did he loved…
No they know they're step brothers. As far as I remember it didn't say how they came to like each other. The relationship never goes anywhere romantic but it was still sweet. Season 2 was so different as it was like S1 didn't happen.
In all the series was okay. In the beginning Teh was such an douche to Oh-aew, personally I don't like him, probably cuz I know what's to come. I understand about his hesitation to get with Oh but he was definitely leading everyone on. I didn't even feel bad for him when he gave his spot away to Oh, I would never do that no matter who it was, what an idiot. Plus that crying 🤣 As for Oh-aew I really liked his character. He was honest with himself but I really don't think he wanted to be an actor as much as Teh. If I had a ready made job with my family I would definitely do that. Yes they got together in the end but I think S2 is going to be so hard to watch(cheating).
Mahiro and Souta are so frustrating, for different reasons. Mahiro if he really loved Souta then he should've fought for love. He was always running away. Also they kept getting mad at each other for the stupidest reason, talking about what you want is important if you want to get into a relationship. I understand Soutas' slow progression to understand his own feelings but damn their was so much misunderstandings. Then they got together so quickly then I presume opened a shop together. As for Komachi she knew Souta was having feelings for Mahiro but still decided to date so she has no reason to be mad and slap him. Though she didn't make a big deal when they broke up, I'm sure she saw it coming a mile away. Definitely not rewatching but I watched it on fast forward to get thur it quickly.
