So for anyone that is asking, in short: 1. This is not GOT nor is it trying to be. I actually read Martin's books and watched the show so I know what I'm talking about. 2. It kind of has a bit of a romance, but it's not the focus, which I really like. I genuinely care about the characters and their development. 3. If you're only here for Song Joong Ki, this is not like his other roles so be prepared. Nevertheless he's shining in his performance and brings the characters really to life.
I watched this a while ago and I recommend it to everyone (not that they listen to me unfortunately). This is how you do a zombie movie - or any movie for that matter! Beautiful is not the word you would expect but this is just what it is.
I just recently discovered K-drama after a lifetime of watching japanese anime and western fantasy. I just want to say quickly this was a MASTERPIECE, I'm blown away. I fell in love with Song joong-ki and Erika Karata and I wish to see her replay the role of badass Karika Xabara. love love love!

All in all just watch it, it's good :)
