I am in a minority here, but I think Ha Do Young will be her main enemy. He has very strong “Othello/Heathcliff”…
OMG! I totally agree with you. I think Ha Do Young is going to be the main villain/enemy as well. I get where you're coming from regarding the "Othello/Heathcliff" vibe.
Seriously what the fuck is wrong with the Grandpa? Who treats a kid like that. Literally everything could've been avoided if he'd intervented at any point of time. Since, apparently he knew everything. Or maybe, just maybe he could've just stopped being an asshole. Maybe that would've helped not completely not screw up his daughter.
she was like the best paralegal and she ended up with the main character. who was also a genius and had photographic memory. just thought that was a cool coincidence.
The only thing that i feel a little sad about is that they didnt further explore the ji-uk×bong-hui×jae-hong thing. They would've made a perfect family. The kid was so cute. Also really liked the actor who played jung hyun soo
Initially no, but around the second half of the series a little bit. She was just acting way out of character. Like she was supposed to be this smart and confident person but after the first half she was kinda annoying. Although she became her old self again towards the end. Does that make sense? I'm shifty at explaining.
I'm disappointed that they didn't show Oscar and Chu Chu together. I thought they would've been great together. I vague implications that they might end up together wasn't enough for me.
What about fl? She is also toxic person. This drama deserves to be in this list.
i mean i understand why people would think of her as toxic, the female lead has antisocial personality disorder , she's supposed to be cold, selfish, impulsive, manipulative. most people find the drama toxic because of how FL treated the male lead in the initial episodes, for instance using his older brother to lure him to her house. but that's her character. she has antisocial personality disorder. people think she is obsessive, manipulative and aggressive. but if you look up ASPD , that is exactly what you'll find. Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental disorder in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong, ignores the rights and feelings of others. they tend to antagonize, manipulate or treat others harshly or with indifference. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior. and this describes her character perfectly.
Could you explain what you find toxic in IONTBO? I personally think their communication was better compared to…
I agree! i mean i understand why people would think of it as toxic, but isn't the drama about overcoming trauma and becoming a better person. it's a drama about healing and moving on. the female lead has antisocial personality disorder , she's supposed to be cold, selfish, impulsive, manipulative. as for the male lead he spent his entire life taking care of his brother, and suppressing his desires and figuring out what he wanted to do. i guess people why most people find the drama toxic because of the female lead because of how she treated the male lead in the initial episodes, like using his older brother to lure him to her house. but that's her character. she has antisocial personality disorder. they think she is obsessive, manipulative and aggressive. but if you look up ASPD , that is exactly what you'll find. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior. and this describes her character perfectly. the show is about mentally ill people who grow to become better versions of themselves, and that everyone can find love and a family.
