idk what u mean but anyways, love how they casted Reba who's also an Uyghur but the rest of the cast is so far off. Also who in the world would believe Reba is a man
So this was essentially a villain origin story? Chao Yang literally got everyone killed but gets to live happily…
I think it depends on how every individual views the ending and the show in general. I wouldn't say he had a good ending or lived happily ever after. Instead I'd say that all this ruined him. Like how that fly fell in his bowl, his life has been contaminated. Living on on his own with all these secrets might now even be a good thing.
I just finished it....it's amazing. One question though, why was Dong Sheng always wearing a wig? Like what was…
It also symbolises his pressure as a "man" that his surroundings put on him. So basically he doesn't have an outstanding job and if @:3 is right, also impotent. His wive also cheats on him. He's basically a "failure as a man", and him balding young also adds to that. His parents basically kept reminding him that he "isn't a man", which led to his fucked up character and in the end killing them.

It's also the whole "blood is thicker than water" bothering her I geuss. Like usually nobody would try to break you and your siblings apart, but that's not the case for her. She's also constantly being reminded by ppl around her that they're not blood related. But I believe it's more the awkwardness. Not meeting someone you've been very close to for 9 years, during which you only exchanged messages out of courtesy, added with how they parted, makes it all very awkward for her. Like she doesn't feel very close with them anymore, yet they try to kind of invade her personal space and judge her.
70 eps, 40min, in 3 days. Obsessed. It's been almost a month after I've finished it and I keep rewatching the trailer bc I can't get over it. This is a gem. If only the ending weren't rushed TT
