This drama is almost over when we only just got the absolute treasure of Nam Joo Hyuk moving from his roles as a sad boy to a violent sad boy, Yoo Ji Tae carrying the entire police force on his biceps, Kim So Jin showing kdramas everywhere how to use a pretty boy for ratings on your show and most importantly of all, Lee Joon Hyuk showing us nothing bad ever happens from unrequited love and meeting your heroes
The world truly gonna do us all like that and only give us 8eps?
The biggest flaw was the director replacing Rak's actor and the change from the expressionless to more emotional acting. It changed the untrustworthy innocence Ryu Jun-Yeol gave while the detective was throwing them around. Reimagining characters is fine but personally it just missed for me in an otherwise entertaining midquel action movie. I could sympathise with avenging Laika getting hurt and hoped he won out in the open ending of the first movie.
Rak was a humble drug dealer who was just upset about his dog with the added subplot of everything else.
