I’m so surprised by all the comments hating the love triangle and SML’s involvement. I usually only see this…
Honestly, as a male. I can say the SML is handsome, I can't deny that fact. He's also not a bad actor by any means. The script is more at fault with his character. Also as a viewer, gender not relevant. I hate love triangles in any drama/movie. Whether it's 2 males and 1 female, or 2 females and 1 male. Even 2 males and 1 male or 2 females and 1 female getting between the main leads. The feeling would be the same.
I started watching this show for 2 reasons. Roh Jeong Eui, I actually like her as an actress despite others feeling the opposite. The family drama aspect of adapting to life with raising a baby then sure the romance between FL/ML. A love triangle should have never existed in this type of story, especially when it takes up more than half of a 12 episode show. To the point where the ending feels rushed.
This is the same reason I never watched Crushology 101, but at least that show made the love triangle obvious from the trailer. Probably the only show I have never watched with Roh Jeong Eui.
i am one of themi never review or rate any shows but this turned so dogshit, given what the plot was supposed…
The old shows are the issues with remembering titles. I would recognize clips maybe, but a lot of actors look different. Well, except for Song Hye Kyo haha, she looks fairly similar every time I see her acting.
Sometimes those old shows are better. Sure technology and quality sucked then, but the story was better when there isn't 10+ variations of the same plot.

To be fair, I made my account just to comment here originally. While I'm also the type of account that added dramas on the same day. I have dramas going back nearly 20 years if I count the ones that were played on KBS America and other Korean networks we had in the channel pack or the DVD's we rented from the local Korean store at the time. I rarely watched American shows or movies growing up.
Should I added hundreds and hundreds of shows and movies as I remember the ones I watched or just add a few I watched in the past couple months before I made the account?
I always looked at mydramalist, I have a ton of bookmarks for shows and actors for references. I never wanted an account until Our Universe to voice an opinion.
one episode will goes to find the baby and the other to end anything with sml still there so ml have a five minutes…
Part of me is expecting the story to go like this:
Baby is missing. SML is busy stalking so he will swoop in as the hero to magically find the baby. (Yep, totally a coincidence, no sketchiness there). Just to seem like the good guy and gaslight FL into thinking ML isn't reliable and she needs SML to raise the baby.
Oh man, I'm already disappointed in the final 2 episodes haha just from a theory of how I expect the terrible writing to continue. I hope I'm wrong. I want to be wrong. Come on FL, stick up for yourself and stay true to ML. Draw the line with the third wheel, you can do it. It's just 2 more episodes to build up the romance that should have been happening since the beginning.
So, despite dropping it initially. Decided to catch up on episodes today to take a break from cdrama's. Well, I skipped every scene with the SML. I guess I watched about 20 minutes or so of each episode that are an hour long each. No one can convince me Bae In Hyuk is the male lead when his roles are so little later on in the show like the FL's friend. Ugh, literally rolled my eyes every time the SML popped up and I had to pause to find where his scene ended.
There isn't much of a family element past the 3rd episode. There isn't much of in laws working together. All it is, a nanny who takes care of the baby while the FL goes on dates with another guy. Although it makes sense why she is blinded to the truth. She made the same mistake with Tae Hyeong's father who is just as creepy as SML's character. I mean, come on. She always talks about how good Tae Hyeong is to her friend but stalker always shows up where he doesn't belong. Just like ML's father trying to force their way in to earn the babies trust.
This drama could've been a 10, if the SML's character was never added. At the most, cut him off at ep 3 to leave him in the past. I dread watching the final two episodes when they come out. We all know SML will keep sticking his nose where it doesn't belong and show up uninvited.
why its rating below 8 . it's a good drama with cute baby I know some parts are boring but at least it deserve…
The baby carrying the show is the only reason why it's at 7.7. For me, SML character and the unnecessary love triangle earned it's drop in rating. Zero reason at all it should have been dragged out for this long. If it wasn't for the baby, I would have
Episode 9 is when it dropped to 8 then to 7.8, then 7.7.
Ok everyone… I understand all the problems people have been pointing out here (with the SML and, for some viewers,…
To me, on the the last part "well-dressed, socially approved, and professionally respected.". I feel like is the main issue on this forced love triangle. Like, it highlights the whole hierarchy system Koreans are raised on. Oh, he's in a high position as her boss at work, I can't speak against him. This overtime that only I get because it's dates, but I can't say anything. Oh, he's rich, I can't say anything. Now I could be overreacting by that explanation, but it's still what I felt when watching.
He's is just a stalker taking advantage of his position. That's the entire vibe I get from the character. To me, he's no different than the guy in Queen of Tears taking advantage of Hae In situation at the end.
I honestly feel this in the few promotions I watched of them as well. I mean, comparing say Roh Jeong Eui and Park Jin Young promoting The Witch. Those 2 seemed to get along quite well for not filming much together. I even rewatched their interview with DIVE Studios for that reason a couple weeks ago or the schedule where they were doing some drawing type thing.
For Our Universe promotion, they just seem to be there. The recent schedule on MMTG I believe it was with the FL/ML and third wheel just seemed like classmates meeting again after 10 years at a school reunion. The best promotion content was with the extroverted child as the host/mc, but the child and baby carried that video also.
Although there was the one promotion with baby, ML and third wheel, those 2 seemed to get along decently well
Typical love triangle ruining another show. I'll just go back to rewatch ep. 1 since the third wheel is no where to be seen. The show went "good" to "ugh" starting in ep. 2. This had so much potential to be great but the third wheel character doesn't belong. I would have preferred the brother and sister get more time.
I know it's not the actors fault, it's all on the writer and director, but this show only need FL, ML, and baby. Then a few supporting characters. SML is simply unnecessary, especially getting this much screentime. Honestly what is the point of the promotions Roh Jeong Eui and Bae In Hyuk have done if they're going this far into the show still being strangers essentially.
Maybe if the little Instagram clips show something relevant happen, I'll go watch that episode but at this point I don't think it'll happen.
