it’s a slog
I thought this series started out well with a bunch of cute kids, but the older the kids got the worse the storytelling got. The middle especially suffers from major pacing issues. Lots of dead time in the story, with repeated montages or just one kid staring blankly into space. The sames songs were used over and over again in every episode well past wearing out their welcome. The boy’s wigs were particularly bad. I appreciated that the series made an effort to have a more realistic tone…but the kissing was so unrealistic. Who kisses like that?
