As Shi San said in an earlier episode, there is a happy reunion after death. I kinda like the ending, its more…
Yep, I completely agree with this especially with the part about the fighting for the world. They are not the kind of people that can just sit by and do nothing when people need them.
And yes, I like to believe that what Chu Yue saw at the end is them reunited after death, being happy.
Well...I finished it. After bawling my eyes out for the last 5 episodes and feeling as if those swords and spears were piercing me I can still safely say this is one of the best dramas ever.
I understand why people are upset with the ending but realistically for me, after they literally killed the entire squad, I couldn't really see the two leads doing a happily ever after. If they had kept some of them alive sure but I feel the burden, especially for NYZ would have been too heavy. He was utterly devastated in that scene where he was seeing all of them playing in the snow. (Me too for that matter)
Did they really have to kill absolutely everyone to make it memorable? Definitely not. The journey was absolutely amazing and the character development superb. The drama would have been brilliant even with a happy ending. Did they do the characters justice in the way they were killed of? I think so. I think they left as they lived. Hated ever fucking moment of it but if it had to be done this was the way to do it.
It would have been lovely if our lovely Shisan actually gave in to his feelings for Chu Yue but again his character was very on point so I don't really have any complaints there either.
All in all I adored this drama and nothing can take away from my enjoyment of their journey.
Also, I just freaking knew it! That goodbye was not for Ning Yuanzhou it was for all of the others. As soon as…
It's funny cause up until today I was convinced that if any of the squad die it will be Shisan and now it does look like he might have the best chance of all of them to survive 😅 Fingers crossed for a happy ending for him.
You know, I expected some death to occur by the end but fuck me I didn't freaking expect every single one of them…
Also, I just freaking knew it! That goodbye was not for Ning Yuanzhou it was for all of the others. As soon as I saw that I was like yeah we ain't seeing some of them again...little did I know that the heartbreak that was coming was a lot bigger than I could have ever anticipated. You would think that I have learnt my lesson after watching so many of these but clearly not. 😒
You know, I expected some death to occur by the end but fuck me I didn't freaking expect every single one of them to die!!!! What.The.Actual.Hell?! Qian has clearly lost it and considering he is not in that battle the odds aren't great for him. Sun Lang is definitely dead by the looks of the preview for the next episode, probably an arrow. Yuan Lu my baby is definitely not surviving the marathon he just pulled with the way he's spitting blood everywhere in that preview scene and I've already seen the trailer with Shisan in front of the whole freaking army...All of them?! Really? Couldn't just one have made it? I was prepared for 1 death maybe 2 but definitely not the whole squad 😠I love and hate this show. It's going to break my heart entirely but it's so good I can't stop watching it.
Also, definitely did not see the whole Qian thing coming. I love that we are this far in and it can still surprise me.
