I do hope the story has these two characters grow and mature regardless of whether they end up together or not. Personaly I hope they do - 10 years together is a long time and there is love between them.
I had similar thoughts to yours - I do see how he has become a bit of a doormat in the relationship. There is no give and take with him, he just gives and gives and gives. It’s out of deep love and fear of losing his partner that he’s not challenging her to mature; the FL on the other hand is a bit selfish, lazy, and I might argue that she may love him a little less than he does. She is not reciprocating or pulling her weight in the relationship, she just takes and seems to have little respect for him.
She is showing the first signs of personal growth when she realizes that he’s holding himself back in a dead-end job so that he’d be stable for both of them if her job falls apart (which happened many times this far). So the breakup, as painful as it is, shows that she is starting to care more about him.
Although it’s titled “a love other that yours”, I feel like the rebound relationships are not going to work out. There is too much history and love between the leads. I think they will date others for a while and quickly realize what they gave up. It could also be that the ML will finally be treated the way he deserves and not look back, while the FL will meet a toxic new man and realize her mistake. Who knows?

they first mentioned it around minute 5 to 6 while the lady profiler was doing her presentation. Then it was repeated later on by the police officers. I don’t speak Korean but it sounded like they said “aegi” for minor which means baby, as far as I know. 🫣😅
they kept saying that kingfisher could be a minor yet they’ve been trying to catch him/her for 15 years! How? Did he/she become a sniper at 3years old? 🤣😆I know I’m nitpicking but thought it was funny 😆
I just finished rewatching this season and thought it was cute, funny and infuriating at times. I didn’t really like the ML for the first few episodes and when he finally showed his true personality the series was ending…. I ended up liking the ML quite a lot in the last 2 episodes because he was honest, direct, confident and knew what he wanted. That said, season 2 was still my favorite and even now, years later, I am still team Babi.
