Well I mean the other subjects aren’t really that great indications of intelligence like logic is. But it is true that some parts of it was very advanced in math and that also isn’t a good indication of intelligence since not all of them have studied math to that degree. Tbh I was expecting the show to be more like “are you smarter than a 5th grader?” where they would cover multiple subjects, but then again it still requires studying for this competition show and not just relying on your brain’s intelligence. I’m still looking forward to seeing more seasons of this show and discovering more brilliant students.

I think it’s because it’s supposed to be more mental basic math and memorization based than knowledge based. Like they weren’t asking them calculus level questions, but it was testing their fast mental maths and memory. Testing them for other sciences would not really be a good measure of their intelligence cause you either know those facts or you don’t. I’m saying this as a bio major. If they’re not juniors or seniors in their other sciences majors then testing them in those fields would not be fair.
