When people talk about the loopholes in this drama, I can’t help but wonder if they’re even watching the same show as me. This drama takes its time to explain the motivations behind each character’s actions in a way that is perfectly executed, something you rarely find in Cdramas. It’s one of the few dramas in recent years that has kept me engaged from start to finish without feeling bored. I really have to praise the screenwriters for making the story so interesting without resorting to filler, which is common in many Cdramas. I also enjoyed the performances of both leads, they really embodied their characters well. In fact, all the characters are well-cast, though the second male lead could use some improvement, he’s still watchable. Overall, this drama is so good that I hope more Chinese platforms will produce stories like this one in the future.

Many things are revealed quite early, yet you’ll still find yourself surprised by the characters actions and the reasons behind them.
Just like the ML, he doesn’t hide things or make them a secret. He tells the FL straight to her face who she is and what he wants from her.
