Idk, I just compared the YouTube video and Viki version side by side and they were word for word. It does not seem like Viki did their own subbing. I can understand the subs but they aren’t clean or using correct grammar and I can tell some of the words aren’t the best fit for chn to Eng translation.

It’s not, it’s word for word the same subs as Mango tv on YouTube. It’s dodgy subs and simple sentences make sense but some don’t.

God I been dying to watch this drama and got so excited when it finally came on Viki as I thought it would have better subs. Why is it exactly the same subs as YouTube? Does this happen to every drama they get from already subbed platforms or will their own subbing team take over eventually, someone who is familiar with how subbing works on Viki plz let me know. Such let down.

Idk why this is reminding me of the American tv show Shameless with this deadbeat dad. Poor kids, the show is good so far, I hope they have a bright future.

I’m on episode 23 now, I didn’t think I could dislike Xiao Lei even more but here we are... I hope after this her life goes to shits lmao. I can not stand her. Both her and Lin Hao are the same insecure losers projecting their insecurities to others and treating the ppl who care about them terribly. They deserve each other 🤢

I honestly can not stand xaio lei, her character irks me so much she is so annoying. For someone who went thru the same thing as her friend she is too sympathetic to the other party. Like that’s your best friend and roommate how r u taking care of the scum bag? I hate seeing their story line I wish it was just focused on Xia Yan, I kind don’t care for the rest of the friends storyline either, kinda wish they only showed up as her support.

She is so good I just love her. She easily became one of my favorite actresses. Her chemistry with each lead is so good you would believe they are dating irl. She gets better with each drama, rom coms are definitely her strong suit!

So they seem like legit translations that make sense?
