I cannot with the random impromptu ads lmao. Like it’s so off putting. Why is the product placements soo severe in Chinese entertainment. It really takes me out of the show I’m watching. I rather u just give me a straight commercial break than forcing the participants to plug in the product every few scenes. Anyway with that being said I’m on episode 8 and I’m rooting for Oscar and Le Yan so far.

I understand the mood they were going for, it’s just not shot well. When some scenes are bright it’s washed out and has no saturation it almost looks hazy it’s just not sharp enough idk how to describe it. Some scenes where it’s dark it’s grainy. I dnt think it’s my tv or the app cus I’ve watched great cinematography with similar darker tones that were sharp and clear.

I don’t think it’s the app cus I’m not having issues with other shows. It’s just the way this one was filmed. Some shots r great others too dark and grainy, when it’s bright it’s too washed out and hazy, specifically in the office settings. It’s just all over the place.

I’m loving the story and characters so far, I’m just having issues with the cinematography. I don’t like this color grading, and sometimes it looks like I’m watching the show thru a dirty window and it gets foggy. I know it’s the mood they are going for but it just doesn’t come across very clear, too dark in some shots as well. I’m watching in 4k too.

I was enjoying this drama so far, thought it was going to be a feel good show where perseverance and family can get you through. Currently on episode 34, I do not like when a show just conjures up tragedies to make things dramatic and entertaining. You can tell a good story without giving so many plot twists it’s kind of annoying I wanted a true feel good ending idk if that is what I will get but so far I don’t like where the show headed.

A Zhao Lu si drama oh I’m gon be seated for it every time! She is just too good and I enjoy every character she plays. Is she wearing lenses throughout this show? I really don’t like it, I wish they would remove it her natural eyes look way better. It goes and it comes or am I just seeing things?

I love it so much! The story and flow is so good and god Zhao Lusi will always deliver when it comes to having chemistry with the male lead! Every damn time! She is seriously one of my favorite actresses and I will watch whatever she puts out.

This is like the most perfect casting of father and son? R we sure they aren’t related any sort of way? He looks so much like his father! It’s so cute so far I hope it doesn’t let me down.

So I’m on episode 1, and so far it seems like the pacing is weird and the whole thing looks gimmicky. I love the main actors in this which is why I gave it a try. Does it get better and does the show pick up after episode 1? Someone lmk before I drop it.

Seriously they volunteer? They aren’t getting paid to sub for a corporation making money off of those videos? Wow that’s crazy to me. Power to them and thankful, I wouldn’t have done it.

I’m liking this show so far and the leads are my favorite actors, I just want someone to tell me if it’s a happy ending. Just a yes or no would be good cus I hate heartbreaks 😬

I wonder why from ep5 and not from the beginning. It’s frustrating cus I watched episode 1 and like the beginning improved but towards the middle and end it’s still makes no sense and ep2 was even worse it’s like a guessing game of what they are trying to say.

For real? So the romance doesn’t move along til even closer to the end.. man that’s not a slow burn that’s a standstill 😭

I love the drama and I’m a sucker for slow burn romance. I like the actors individually and strong female lead who brings herself up from the bottom to someone of high position is just my favorite arc. All the characters are great and the storyline makes u root for the female lead to prove herself. This drama has everything I like except the chemistry between the actors. Idk what it is but I’m not getting good chemistry from the FL with both the male actors. It’s not giving me the tingles and it just seems forced. Nonetheless I’m watching this drama cus I love how much her career is progressing and will just not expect anything from the romance part.

I checked it out again now and it seems they are using Mango subs but fixing some of the incorrect grammar. I still don’t like that and would like it to be Vikis own subs, cus the flow of the chn to eng translations doesn’t seem that good. From what I heard Mango subs uses machine translations and I feel like that doesn’t represent the language and story well. It’s missing some nuances that machine trans can’t pick up. I know I’m being picky lol, but yes grammar is much better now and this is probably the best I could hope for and shld just cave and watch it as is.
