Nope. At least not yet in the webtoon. Right now it's ongoing and in chapter 50, it hasn't given any hints or clues whether or not he's going to go study/get a job abroad or stay in Korea. So far, it's focused on jaeyoung and sangwoo's enemies to lovers dynamic, it lives entirely in the present without much worries. I think it'll focus more on if jaeyoung will stay or leave Korea/ their relationship and other future plans in season 3 of this manhwa.

hmm ya I can see the distinction now. She was definitely more chill and likeable in the manhwa, to me at least.

Ikk. I actually felt bad for her in the manhwa. She seemed sweet and just into a guy who didn’t like her back. For some reason though she REALLY annoyed me in this series. In the series, she seemed to not be able to take the hint and she seems like a ‘homewrecker’ based on her actions lol.

I also like some thai bls (I told sunset about you, not me, a tale of a thousand stars) so I don't mean every thai bl sucks, it's just some do. Some are just an obvious cash grab where they don't care about the plot/the storyline, and I'd still see comments like, "best thai bl ever!" I don't mean to judge other people's taste, but I'm judging lol. It's just hard to know at this point who actually cares about the LGBT community and who's doing it for the sake of doing it, and there are even some actors who are homophobic in real life (I'm not saying bl actors need to be LGBT activists, they just need to have basic respect for LGBT people). I personally am not fan of fan service when it comes to bl since it usually leads to toxic situations (people harassing actors real life partners, assuming their sexualities, etc). I do like bl, but yikes are there ALOT of issues within the industry and fanbase.

I love this series so much...it better not disappoint me later on. My expectations have transcended earth at this point (lmao i'm so dramatic). It's too underrated. Why are shitty thai bls getting the attention but not this amazing one?

Is there somewhere i can watch this for free? I watched the first 2 eps on viki but to watch ep 3 there needs to be a subscription 🥲 i want to support the series by watching it legally but i’m broke.

I didn't watch light on me so I don't know what to say about that and I mean I am biased...but PLEASE give this show a chance. The visuals in this drama is so aesthetically pleasing, it's obviously well produced (as in this is quality over quantity unlike some other bls that are only a cash grab, no shade), the storyline for this is amazing (although I can understand some people see Jaeyoung's behavior to Sangwoo as 'bullying' I see it more as annoying/petty behavior). The enemies to lovers trope is done really well since it's a slowburn and has alot of sexual tension (In the manhwa at least). The acting is pretty good, and the OST (Ohh my God the OST 'romantic devil' is so catchy, please listen to it). I'm already hooked 2 episodes in, but I can understand your hesitance so maybe wait till the series is already fully aired. It's fine if you don't want to watch it and I'm sorry for this long paragraph detailing my opinion on this show, but I just personally really like it :)

Nothing wrong with yaoi (I just don't like sexual content), but I'd really like it better if the manhwa didn't have any smut and kept it pg (a shounen ai)...enemies to lovers with no smut and just a lot of angst, fluff, and feelings involved would be nice... I still like the manhwa, just a little disappointed.

I like the webtoon better and honestly I’d prefer if it follows it completely but i get it the series is really good lol.

Because the webtoon is amazing. The art style and aesthetics from it is gorgeous. Like seriously, it has to have one of the best art I've ever seen from a webtoon (I might be exaggerating a little considering haven't read TOO much webtoons) I think the main reason I like it is because it's a true enemies to lovers and not one sided. Along with the fact it's a slowburn and not like other enemies to lovers bl webtoons where they like kiss and get together really quickly. I understand that some aspects of the series and even webtoon is problematic, but I can't help but like it lmao.

Well, I personally see Jaeyoung's actions as petty behavior/pestering (maybe my definition of 'petty' behavior is to loose). He buys all his favorite coffee, moves next door to him, takes his seats/sit besides him, draws on his face..I don't really see that as bullying as Jaeyoung being annoying and petty but I get how you can see it as bullying/problematic. On an unrelated side note, there are some aspects in the manhwa that I do find kind of problematic. But honestly I still really like the webtoon and series so maybe I'm just justifying his behaviors because I like the webtoon/series lmao.

I really hope they have that scene in the manhwa of Sangwoo having a sexuality crisis and talking to Jaeyoung about sexuality. I'd really like it if a Korean bl addresses sexuality and a sprinkle of internalized homophobia instead of the whole 'I don't like men, I just like him.'

7.9? THE RATING IS 7.9?? ok, I know people have their own opinions and I respect that...but I take personal offense to that...the production quality, the OST, the visuals...it's just phenomenal. And it's only ep 2. As a fan of the manhwa, I would like if the series is completely similar to it, but I'm not complaining. This series is amazing, and definitely raises the bar for Korean bls in the future.
