oh my, im just about to start this show (am a binger) and this comment gives me high hopes for the chemistry.
So i finished it! Insanely good! At least to me. I cant believe i had to wait for the car scene till the very last mins of these 24 eps lmao. But so worth it!
This was alright. Not my cup of tea, but im rather picky when it comes to camp. That being said doesnt mean i think it was bad. It wasn't. It just wasnt made for me. Two Worlds remains my fav MaxNat show. I loved seeing Peterpan and Fluke again, tho we didnt really get enough of them together for me to be on that ship. Don't like Mark playing villian and would really love to see him in a lead with someone. Cant wait to see more of JTOhm! Ohm kept throwing me off with how tall and large he seemed in this show, he always seemed small before. Im not complaining, was just an observation. Okay, thats all i can think of at the moment.

If I have to watch weekly, I will typically rewatch the previous ep every week to refresh and then before watching the finale I will rewatch the whole thing lol. Ima binger and try to wait until its done airing before watching. But there were too many edits on my FYP and didnt want to get spoiled on anything.
Okay so I started this like 2 years ago and dropped it early on at maybe the 2nd or 3rd ep because I had watched the Korean adaptation early in my Kdrama history which only started in 2023. I figured I'd seen the story play out and Ididnt really need to see it again. Well a couple days ago I had finished watching Wu, and wanted to see more of Nani, I had forgotten that he and Dew were in this. So I told myself well why not restart it, at least I'd get to see them. I'm not a huge fan of Bright or Win, as most Thai shows I watch are Bl. And 2gether was the straightest bl I've ever seen. Dont get me wrong, I dont dislike them at all. And they are very talented. Just not really my cup of tea.
Well let me tell you. This adaptation is by far the better of the two. I love the changes they made to the story vs the Korean version. Tbh, JanDi got on my nerves quite often, but Gorya never did. I had 2ml syndrome in both versions, but perfer Ren over Jihoo (Ren didnt seem as deeply melancholy as Jihoo). But while I did like Kavin, I prefered Yi Jung. I also liked Thyme better than JunPyo. And MJ was better all around because I barely remember WooBin. I think Bright and Tu had better chemistry and I'm glad they cut the whole kiss thing with Gorya and Ren. It never really sat well for me in the Kversion. Dont get me wrong. I still liked Ren better than Thyme. Just not quite as much as I liked Jihoo over JunPyo.
I had forgotten to add this to PTW list, so forgot about till something brought it to my attention again. I'm a binger so I had wanted to wait till it was done before watching. It was so good! Will definitely rewatch in the future. The entire cast and crew did an amazing job! And OMG, Krist blew it out of the water! And I say that as someone who only watches Krist casually. I'm convinced both Sky and Nani are fans of China's Bromance shows and that's why they chose to do these roles together. Not every romantic relationship has to involve sex and not every friendship has to be strictly ultra platonic. Would I love to see them in bl roles? Of course I would. Do I love watching their bromances? Of course I do. And will watch whatever they want to give us for as long as they want to give it to us. There absolutely nothing wrong with SkyNani being a bromance pairing. If you don't like watching bromances, then don't watch them, they weren't made for you. There many other shows and pairings that were. Just my two cents, and it's only worth two cents.
Finally got to watch this via TikTok. Been wanting to since I watched Jun & Jun a couple years ago. I really enjoy watching Park Hyeong Seop. I really need him in a series with Lee Soo Hyuk as siblings. Am also becoming a fan of Lee Sang Min, he keeps popping up when ever I turn around and I'm not mad about it. I like his acting.
As for this show, I am NOT a fan of vertical dramas. Not because they are bad (though alot of them are horrendous) but I dislike the break in immersion every 2 mins. It makes my brain itch. But I really wanted to watch this for PHS. It was so good I put up with the itchy brain. And I really hope someday someone releases it as movie so I can watch it repeatedly. I can't do more than one veiwing in vertical form.
Everyone did so well in their roles, that in fact I kept getting thrown on who the saesang might be. But I dont think think they showed enough of the antagonist getting what they deserved.
It wasn't the worst adaptation I've seen. I didn't mind some of the changes that were made. But it really fell flat for me. I really disliked how they took away Hinata's voice and made him seem really immature. And they made their relationship no where as deep as the Thai version. Can't really explain it. But it really felt like something was missing besides the chemistry of the main couple. Maybe it's the extremely shortened run times and not enough workshops. I'm used to the differences between Japanese and Thai Bls and how they handle intimacy. Stiff kisses and lip presses without reason will pull me out of a story so quickly, that I would prefer they just not be there. I've seen several shows that didn't have even one kiss and it didn't bother me. Skinship is not a must for me for it be a good show, however if you are gonna have it, please make it believable. Don't get me wrong there are situations which call for that kind of kissing and those don't bother me.
