I found that scene of Beomsoo and his TA gossiping about Seri being pregnant and and living with a married man.
Those gossip were awful and slanderous. I think Seri would return to the university and then discover the disgusting gossip. And then she will try to clear Beomsoo's name but ended up mentioning his name which made this issue worse.

He is so sure he will win again, this time not business contracts but, he is sure of winning Kwangsook's heart EASILY. But he fails and his pride has taken a big hit so he becomes antsy and unreasonable, raising his voice at Kwangsook. Kwangsook will be the one to teach him humility and empathy.
The upside is he is not spiteful because if he were spiteful, he would have stopped his friend from signing the contract with Eagles Brewery.
