There is no knowing if Yeojin would change ro a better person if Sungho died. Sungho's role is a support one. For a death to occur, I feel that there must be some impact to the story or other characters. Only Jiseok will be deeply affected.

I was laughing when police said Seyeong is a suspect in Eunchong's abuse case. I thought it was good in that Seyeong would no longer dare to touch Eunchong ...but she was stupid enough to push Eunchong to the floor not long after the police left. 😬

Hopefully no more abuse from Seyeong but Myeongji looked like she was mad enough to kill Eunchong now. Oh dear!

If Seyeong dies like how you theorised, Myeongji will lose her mind and take a kitchen knife and stab Eunchong and or Hana or both.
But I think Seyeong will become insane towards the end.

Regarding the possible death of Eunchong, someone said a child's death sometimes occur in kdramas.
Personally, I do not think Eunchong would die but Jiseok may die while saving either Eunchong or Eunchong & Hana.

I was in a long comment thread several hours with a few commenters. I asked one commenter to check out Cinderella poster at kisskh.co site. Then others joined in and they all said the guy with closed eyes lying on Hana's lap is Jingoo. Initially, I did think so too many episodes ago but Jingoo will pair up with Hana, right? Then I decided the guy got to be Jiseok. Check it out. ☺️

That's why I love this drama because the story is somewhat different from the usual makjang kdrama.
Suspense is now building up quickly.

Let me tell you my sudden thoughts:
Myeongji got the detective to kill Eunchong but Hana happened to be with him that day.
Hana & Eunchong are crossing the road and WTOD thunders towards them.
Sungho aka Grandpa and Jiseok are nearby.
Sungho saves Eunchong but dies.
Jiseok saves Hana but dies too.

Hana finds out the truth and starts her revenge plot.

That was a fun discussion. And it all started with my asking @UnniSara to look at that drama poster. 😉

Yeojin is incredibly laughable! She told Hana to go ahead with her adoption of Eunchong.
Now because of Myeongji's made-up story of another family woes, Yeojin is ONLY NOW getting worried that Hana might get too much parental rights on Eunchong. It is too late, Chairwoman Yeojin.

In the preview, Jiseok offered to help Hana with the adoption of Eunchong and she was considering proceeding with the adoption BEHIND Yeojin's back! OMG!
Hana must be eternally grateful to Jiseok if he could really help her out because Yeojin may put a stop to Hana's adoption of Eunchong now.

All hell will break loose soon!
