I have a gut feeling that assuming Jiseok did not die, then the story would be predictable. Jiseok and Hana joined hands to bring down Yeojin.
If Jiseok died in the hands of Myeongji like another car accident or a staged robbery or even trying to save Eunchong. Then a bit later, Hana found out the conspiracy to use her as a fake daughter.
Hana will turn murderous and bloodthirsty and exact revenge.
This scenario will be more exciting and anxious. Of course, I could be wrong as the story is in the hands of the Writer.

As for Myeongji, there was a scene, about 10-15 episodes ago, where she met a senior male accounting personnel from Yeojin's company and asked how the embezzlement was coming along. About two episodes ago, she met that same guy and she told him she wanted to buy an apartment block [something along the line of real estate]. So that explained how Myeongji amassed so much wealth - from Yeojin's company.

Actually I was shell-shocked that Myeongji ordered the detective to kill the real Yujin. Because Yujin was her husband's brother's daughter. She was someone whom Myeongji watched her grew up since she was born. 😧

Then having Jiseok killed is even easier as she hated him because of his poverty.

Maybe...just maybe, Yeojin will eventually become poor as she is involved in money laundering on top of corporate raids. She may even go to jail. After jail, Yeojin & Sungho will live in Hana's rented house which was bought by Sungho. Of course, Hana would have forgiven Yeojin by then.

I googled Cinderella Game recently to check out the ratings and read the synopsis in Wikipedia. Hana will certainly exact revenge. I will be bored to tears if Hana remained goody and trampled on by Myeongji & Seyeong.
Hana's taking revenge was not mentioned in MDL.

You are right that Sungho ought to be more worried about Myeongji's next moves when she finds out the truth about Eunchong. The preview shows Myeongji getting close to the true identity of my cutie pie Eunchong.

Earlier Hana could not adopt Eunchong because of her financial situation. Soon it will be alright for her to adopt Eunchong legally.

When she finds out about Yeojin scamming her, it will be a tricky situation because her financial status will be back to square one. So can she still adopt Eunchong?

Seyeong thinks she made the right decision to go back to Jiseok and abandon Jingoo. But she will need to cut off Myeongji's puppet strings first as she is the puppet master and will never allow it.

We are unsure if Jingoo & Seyeong have slept together or not. We are not even shown the both of them ever kissing. When Seyeong realised she is pregnant, she may lure Jingoo into sleeping with her. But aren't Hana and Jingoo suppose to be a pair?

In fact, I wrote an earlier comment that Seyeong became entitled, cruel and spiteful because Myeongji instilled bad values in her since young. The mother was the only person she could rely on and looked up to after the demise of her dad.

However, she taught little Seyeong to lie that she went to the toilet and then little Yujin disappeared. There are other bad things she puts in Seyeong's head.

Yes, Seyeong might have turned out to be a kind and humble person if not for Monster Myeongji.

But Hana will be taking revenge which means something awful and traumatic must have happened for kind Hana to exact revenge.

That's why I think Jiseok might die and then Hana found out the truth about Yeojin....all hell breaks loose. How would Jiseok die? WTOD?

That's why I said it will be good if she got pregnant. Tbh, I cannot predict what will happen next with her baby and even Seyeong herself. But we do have 53 more episodes! 😉

Jingoo is totally clueless about Seyeong & Jiseok!
Because he does not love her, he does not seem to care about her whereabouts. So it is very easy for Seyeong to cheat on him.
