@MariaMan, thank you so much for detailed answers. Actually I was teasing @joetoca. π I only managed to watch 20-30 minutes of the subbed episode 35 because I needed to go out. Sounds like a depressing episode as a commenter mentioned Bonghee got beaten in prison and Gangju was beaten by the thugs and he is in a coma now? π₯Ί My favourite characters, the grandparents, got jailed too.π
I wonder if Hana did it to get back at Seyeong or was it out of genuine concern. πππ
I watched this drama about 23 episodes after it began so I fast forwarded a few seconds a few times in sime episodes. So I was lost...
Thank you very much for your detailed explanation. I can understand what you have written.
But Sungho should have realised Jiseok's pain and hatred when he learns of Richard Han's real identity. So it is like Richard Han gives Jiseok a happy pill now but later have to give him a bottle of painkillers. ππ€£π This Writer...

@Soleil, I hope you can explain this question of mine which really baffled me. Why did Sungho choose Jiseok to cause Hyesung Group to go bankrupt? Is it stop Yeojin from her work of corporate raids? But why did he hide his true identity from Jiseok because Jiseok will certainly go mad with fury when he finds out later. I don't understand and two commenters also cannot understand what is behind Sungho's intention.

@Soleil, this shows you are a kind person. But honestly, I prefer to think Hana did it to get back at Seyeong because I am naughty and I liked the comedic effect. Initially, I really thought Hana did it to get back at her, then as I observed Hana's face, she did seem concerned. ππ€£π
Is Sungho's teaming up with Jiseok to bring down Hyesung Group is to force Yeojin to stop those corporate raids? Then…
Ah! I was hoping you could think of something to explain to me. The Writer did not make clear to us atp. Let's watch if the Writer would explain later.
they are trying too hard to get them kicked out. little does she know Eun Chong is the real π gem. Ha na is…
This time was really unintentional as Seyeong was jittery. But all of us, who love Eunchong, need to brace ourselves the day Myeongji or Seyeong discovers the true identity of Eunchong.π«£ Don't you agree?
Yeah, Myeong Ji is a crap mother, but I still don't feel sorry for Se Yeong simply by the fact that she took comfort…
I do respect your opinion on Seyeong. Please let me explain in detail why I felt sorry for Seyeong. Did you notice how Myeongji threaten to abandon Seyeong when she said she could not endure the guilt and stress and she wanted to die. Myeongji ruthlessly said that both of them should die that very night. We are only shown Seyeong rebelling strongly against her mother in this event. I felt sorry for Seyeong because her dad has passed on since she was young like 8 or 9 yo. Since then, her mum was her only close relative whom she could rely on and looked up to. Unfortunately, this mum ingrained wrong and evil values in her - all in the name of financial stability and then groomed her to covet what were not hers. This is my take on Seyeong but I am definitely not on her side as she has turned into a Gyeongseong monster made by Myeongji. π₯΄π«£
i think maybe seyeong will be saved , [if she doesnt end up in the nuthouse] , by jiseok at the end ....
Well, it maybe possible. But the best punishment for Myeongji is that something bad happens to Seyeong. Because then all her efforts to make her daughter the heiress would have come to nought. What do you think?
1. because she does not react soundly. look what she's done after he warned her that getting Eun Chong could put…
I wrote an earlier comment that Sungho sent Yeojin photos of Eunchong and then told her not to do anything until he returns to SKorea. But he did not inform her when he would return. In the meantime, he himself got to enjoy time with Eunchong while living as a tenant with Hana & Jichang. But unknown to him, Yeojin has already met Eunchong through Hana. Yeojin tried to reach out to him, via email, to discuss Eunchong and Yujin but he ignored all her emails. (At that time, Sungho has not told her about Yujin's death.) If I were Yeojin, I would give up on waiting for Sungho to reply and act on my own to get close to Eunchong. So Sungho is to be blamed for Yeojin's plot to make Hana as her fake daughter just so she can be physically close to Eunchong.
Because Sungho knew that Jiseok was watching Yeojin's movements, he backed out of the meeting with Yeojin. I agree that was wise but there are other ways to communicate like phone calls and emails or meet on another day but not at the hotel. Sungho is Eunchong's biological grandfather so he should render help to his wife on how to protect Eunchong and, more importantly, he should share his suspicions of Myeongji & Seyeong to Yeojin. Right now, Yeojin has vague suspicions of these 2 Snakes.
For the first time, I felt sorry for Seyeong to have Myeongji as her mum. She has gaslighted Seyeong ever since she knew she was involved in the disappearance of Yujin. In this episode, we have watched how Myeongji ruthlessly controlled Seyeong mentally and emotionally. It is better to be motherless than have Myeongji as one's mother.

Remember I was trying to catch so I must have missed it. π
I thought I missed something but don't know which episode to re-watch. If you do know later, please let me know.
Gamsahabnida!
Let's always agree to disagree. π₯°

Then he could have hired another person because using Jiseok would eventually cause him more pain. I don't get it.
