I would like to share this thought which just crossed my mind.

Initially, without insight into why MR was so hostile to JT, I judged her as difficult and sullen at all times. Now that we know what JT failed to do after spotting HW just before his adoptive mum died, my burning question is why MR did not divorce JT when MR strongly suspected he lost HW deliberately.

It makes no sense to share a bedroom with a person whom you have had such suspicions. You would try all means to keep him away from HS, your only other child, as well as keep JT away from Haeduel Hospital. Yet JT has been holding the highest position in Haedeul Hospital for decades. This absolutely makes NO sense to me.

I wrote this comment not based on the character of HS. I have also commented previously that HS "is not a villain". Many episodes ago, I've written similar comments that HS might not be the biological son of MR & JT. Why? Because NY has WORMED her way into the Han family but all her efforts would come to nought if HS were not the heir to Haedeul Hospital.

Yes! When WR opened the door to the private room in Courtyard House, I was crossing my fingers that MR would ask WR to do the DNA test. I wondered why MR did not do it too.
Out of courtesy for SY? What if SY refused to let them have the test?
Is it ok for SY that WR will never discover his biological mum?

HW was lost around the age of 5. He was raised by Jung Soon Jung for about 5 years. I can’t recall the exact number now. There might be changes in his appearance. Hence, the best test is the DNA test. It is the norm for Writers, of drama of at least 100 episodes, to slowly drag the story and tease us viewers. 😁

Like commenter NIFS, I speculated, many episodes ago, that HS is adopted because I want NY to be so disappointed that she did not marry the heir to Haedeul Hospital.

But that flashback scene in the bedroom when HW was ill and JT said he would bring HW to the hospital - MR was carrying HS in her arms. So HS cannot possibly be adopted, agree?

I thought the story would be that after losing HW, MR decided to adopt a boy HS. But my speculation does not match with the Writer. 🤨
Unless the Writer plans to give us a big twist that HS is adopted for whatever reason. As you can see, I am dying to see HS as adopted. 😁

How could it be that JT did not have a desk with lockable drawers in his study? Most desks come with lockable drawers. And the DNA report is an important and personal document.
JT did not question why NY was snooping in his study? He should kick her out of the house immediately. HS has an apartment near the hospital, hasn't he? If she tried to blackmail him, he could always deny it.
SY... 🙄 how well did she know Jung Soon Jung to believe all that she said. Why hesitate to agree to MR's request for a DNA test? If Jung SJ were still alive, I understand SY's reluctance but she is not alive. And this might be a huge turn of events for WR. There is nothing to lose for WR. The only loss will be that SY will lose a son to MR. But WR is not an ungrateful person so SY should realise that he will still consider her as mother. SY...😬

I've just watched episode 1 and I enjoy the acting of the 2 female leads, not to mention the divorce stories.

Atp, my only grouse is why they made Nam Jihyun spot such an outdated hairstyle and made her wear man-like long & loose jacket? Because she is a rookie attorney? Makes no sense. NJH actually looks beautiful in shoulder-length wavy hair. A more fitted jacket would be good on her too.

I do not give a deep thought about drama characters because the writers in general write to jack up the ratings. They are likely to be paid a bonus if the ratings hit a pre-agreed percentage.

I studied English Literature as a teenager for 6 years. It was very tough when the books are written by Charles Dickens! Easier ones are Jane Austen and I cannot recall the rest.

I agree with you regarding your analysis of NY's character but I will not be able to write such an in-depth analysis.

I did write in an earlier comment about NY's possible murder attempt of WR or MR or both as they will sideline HS and herself and her child. That's how she will end up in jail and likely suffer a miscarriage too. HS will divorce her n and leave for US.

As for WR's being removed from SY's registry, I personally do not see it as a big issue as they are very likely people who are born into a family registry but have had a harsh or unhappy relationship with their parents.

I guess I am a practical person. Nevertheless, I did comment earlier that SY should have discussed with WR and SJ before she made any changes to the family registry but there was no response to my comment at that time which made me scratched my
head. 😄

A few episodes ago, I have written that SY should have discussed with WR & SJ when she decided to move SJ in her family registry instead of watching these this couple struggling and eventually breaking up.

IMPLICATIONS OF ADDING SJ INTO SY FAMILY REGISTRY :
If SJ stayed in her father and stepmother's registry, should SJ die, they will receive her assets and money or if SJ got injured or stricken with a illness which made her mentally incapable, JS & YJ will have the rights to make decisions for her.
These 2 situations are horrifying as YJ is nothing but a money grubber from Day One and physically & verbally abused SJ.

I strongly feel that to be with one's love is far more important with lifelong impact than be in a family registry. To be able to find a partner whom you love deeply and who loves you just much is a huge blessing. Additionally, WR will not be asked to leave but will continue to receive unconditionnal love and concern from everyone at the Courtyard House.

Hence, imo, after weighing the pros and cons, removing WR from SY's family registry so that he and SJ can marry and have a family is far more important.

Yes but Writer must have thought that there is not much to write about to drag the story to 120 episodes if only NY were the only villain.
Although I am just as disappointed that JT turned out to be a bad guy, I understand that this twist of JT's character will add more suspense to the story. ☺️

You know, when MR told SY in the Courtyard House episodes ago that she has lost a son when he was young, I was bracing myself that SY would ask MR if there was even a tiny chance that WR, whom she has adopted, could be MR's son. I was hoping that conversation would lead to both mothers working together to search for little Hyun Woo. Alas! Writer let me down. 😔

That was exactly my speculation many episodes ago. But at this juncture, it turned out to be the opposite of what I predicted earlier.
So....like you I am hoping for HS not to be the biological son of both JT & MR. Then NY's efforts to be the daughter-in-law of the Hans will be completely fruitless. 😲😢😭-NY's expression
