I think I know the reason NY was shell-shocked that she is pregnant. She slept with HS to make him like her but she inadvertently fell in love with him. But she did not want JT & MR to know that both of them have already slept together - because she wanted them to see her as a woman who did not sleep with anyone indiscriminately. At the dining table with the Hans, she lied that HS and she are friends only and they haven't reached the girlfriend/boyfriend stage yet. Now that her pregnancy is known to JT & MR, she is going to salvage her situation with lies again. That is NY's forte.
