The Hongs are a chaebol family with a huge business. Da Hye' ex-lover is already stirring up trouble and such character will forever make trouble for the Hongs.
I would like PJE to address this matter and not sweep it under the carpet. As a non-Korean, I am confused about it. π

There is something bugging me about Soo Cheol's parents being forgiving to Da Hye.
The Hongs are a chaebol family. South Korean non-chaebol families are so uptight about blood relations. Example, a divorcee with a young child is forbidden to bring her child when she married into the family. I discover this fact while watching kdramas.
The Hong dad and mum are now aware that the child is not Soo Cheol's but they readily accept the child Da Hye bore with another man?
What are your thoughts? To me, this is a huge plot hole.
I have always hated rushed endings. Too much time spent on side stories when there are only 16 episodes. Honestly,…
Another commenter and I have always enjoy reading your comments because they are insightful and thought-provoking. Just take this comment which you posted...well-written as always and so true. I think what you have written did not cross the mind of other commenters including myself. Only after reading your comment, we go "Yup! That's right!"
Honestly, that's how I feel about your comments. βΊοΈ

can you imagine how beautiful that moment would have been if BHW was by Haeinβs side when she opened her eyes…
Wouldn't such a moment be too predictable? The Writer wants to keep us sitting on the edge of our seats. Imo, this is how she keep us watching her drama with bated breath.
Seriously, I have a huge hunch that she will write us a happy ending! π
I think it was necessary. It's like making a point. To just tell and show Eun Sung that even if Hae In gets a…
"my HE is a sure thing now. The process of getting there will be painful to watch ππ but what choice do we have?"
We are on the same page. Conflicts, twists and turns are what dramas are made of. Otherwise, how does the Writer continue to write the story if everything is going well and dandy. All writers want us viewers to become addicted to their dramas and jack up the ratings as well.
I think if the ratings are going south, the Writers will be in trouble.
Anyway, you have a sharp and analytical mind. Honestly, my eyes widened while reading your comment. βΊοΈ

Millie, this is such a positive and refreshing take on Eun Seong being the first person Hae In sees upon waking up from the surgery. I'm very hopeful you are spot on! βΊοΈπ
I noticed that whenever Kim Soo Hyun cried, I would cry without fail because I could really feel Hyun Woo's despair and sadness. He must win Baeksaeng Best Actor for TV. π₯°
In the preview after ep 14, Hae In said she had a somewhat lovey feeling when she sees Eun Seong but I want to think that good will prevail over evil. Her feelings for Eun Seong are nothing but a floating feather which will be blown away by Hyun Woo. πͺΆ

Really? I'm more confident than ever we'll get a happy ending. The only think I was afraid of was Hae In's illness…
Tbh, after ep 13, I was still confident of a happy ending because, like you, I know the baddies will and must be punished but I was crushed after episode 14.
Maybe, I am just physically and mentally tired now so my spirits are pretty down. I need to recharge. π
The Hongs should remove Grace from their lives totally after she switched camps. Why was Hae In's mother still talking to Grace at all? Worse still, she told Grace about Hae In going to Germany for surgery.
Because Grace passed this info to Seul Hee, that's how Eun Seong got himself appointed as Hae In's guardian which was really a plot hole.
Before episode 13, I was confident we will get a happy ending. Now I don't know...the story can go any direction. Tbh, I am tired.
