Since you’re watching this and have watched it,your opinion please…. Why would the father force his daughter…
You are at ep 33. Good! This drama is actually very well-written except some flaws here and there which I found absurd too but idk, it could be a culture shock even though I am Asian and actually look like Koreans too. 🤣😂

Regarding that Eun Ho...I was thinking Seo Wool should think that her boss forcing a hug on her more than once and grabbing her wrist to go here and there is considered as sexual harassment.
Eun Ho's mother is deciding which wedding gown Kang Shim shiuld wear is ridiculous. The bride and groom should decide.
I am Singaporean Chinese - born and raised in Singapore.
So although I am Asian, Singaporeans do not allow their parents to control who they are dating, who they will marry. Most married Singaporeans do not live with their parents. We also do not bow or kneel. We are actually completely different from Koreans. 😄

Actually I have more to say, but I was concerned it would be too long 😅.
The father did say that he wanted her to go on a date with that her ex-bf so that she could heal and start dating other men.
Seriously, I disagree and agree with you that she would not heal in this way.
Also, these Kdrama Writers always have sick characters hiding their illness from the family. I totally object the father hiding his terminal illness from his children. When he dies, his children will have to carry the heavy burden of guilt forever. He should allow them the opportunity to make up to him...to apologise and ask for forgiveness. When he is dead, they will never ever have the chance to do so.
I am sure, in real life, no dying parent would hide his terminal illness from his children. But this is dramaland. 😉
Ep 11 ending was jaw-dropping. Hae In has started to hallucinate now. 😲
Nevertheless, I found the scene where Hae In told her family and in-laws that her WBC has now increased to 3,000...a promising sign that her WBC will continue to increase to a safe level for treatment in Germany. There must a reason for that scene. 😊
Hi! I posted a comment very similar to yours with crying emojis earlier. Because I reacted too quickly and therefore wrongly! 😄
Let me explain...when the drama you were watching came to an end, you would feel sad and empty, right?
These 2 special episodes were made to "soothe the disappointment" . That means to ease the sadness and emptiness of QOT fans after the final episode is aired. It is NOT saying that QOT will, for sure, have a sad ending. Hope that helps to explain. ☺️
It's funny to me how most people interpreted it as a sad ending right away, while there's me who understood it…
I watched the original Japanese version first. Oh my!!! The ML & FL were very good and natural. The ending was shocking and I cried buckets of tears. The Korean version was less impressive.
Same for jdrama "Mother". The Japanese version was very very moving and I needed buckets again. But, once again, the Korean version was a letdown imo.
Yes! I have just received a notification of your reply. Please read my new post. I read that article quickly but re-read it again....and realised it is all about translation issues. ☺️
Soon...soon....episode 11... Actually it will be another 11 to 12 hours before episode 11 with subtitles is available for me. 😕 Time....can you please go faster today and tomorrow? 😁
I hate the brother's (ex)wife, I hate her soo much. Honestly what she did makes her the evilest character in this…
I might have missed something. I can't figure out how her getting married to Soo Cheol helped Eun Seong and his mother take over Queens etc. She must have a very good reason to marry him. But to check out of the marriage after only two to 3 years....why marry him to begin with? During the marriage, she had to put up a guise too that she did not smoke and drink. What is your take on this?
I am re-watching this drama. I first watched it about 7 or 8 years ago and loved it so much. I have always recommended it to MDL commenters and my own friends and they all loved it too.
This drama made me cried buckets of tears as I missed my late father. It still made me laughed out so loud even though I am re-watching it. I am most touched by the commendable acting of Yoo Dong Geun, the father and Kim Hyun Joo, his daughter.
I am also very impressed with the natural acting of young Park Hyung Sik, the youngest son. He acted so well despite not having much acting experience or an acting degree.
I am now at episode 51. I am so fed-up with the Aunty who has just discovered her brother would be dying soon during Kang Shim's wedding.
Seriously, I felt that the Aunty should not think of her own grief and pain. That was so selfish because she damn well knew that she had to be present during the wedding ceremony to light the candles. Her brother and her niece would be in a pickle but she was only absorbed in her own pain and guilt.
Well...I expect that I would be needing a lot of tissues again soon as the father will be dying soon.
I'm already so bored with ep 6... Is it just me? And I'm the last person to hate on something only bc it's popular...just…
You are at ep 6 but you are still bored to tears with QOT, then you should just drop it. I feel that you are trying too hard to get into QOT maybe due to its high popularity. It's really OK. Just drop it for now but later you can try watching again. More importantly, you MUST be able to enjoy watching QOT without pressure from any source. 😊

Can you please recommend me some good jdrama?
I think I am too invested in QOT.
In future, I need to read carefully and think before reacting. 😁😁😁
Yes, some of us are jittery about the ending. ☺️

Thanks for your reply! ☺️
I read the article again. As PrinceHenry said, it is "disappointment" as QOT has come to a close - not that QOT, for sure, has a sad ending. 😅
Cheers!
Pleeeease nooooo!

Incredibly well-written drama.
