It is absurd to introduce a complicated subplot like a heart transplant for the ML when there are only 8 episodes left.
Parents of Jihyeok and mother of Eunoh would not object to their relationship. So Writer has to create this sudden heart ailment for Jihyeok just to jack up the ratings.
I hate rushed endings.

Time was wasted in grandmother training to be a model and her death and funeral. That were at least 2 episodes.
I think the actress who played grandmother very likely requested to quit for some reasons.

Because I thought about grandmother's scenes, they did nothing to add value to the story.

Yes, Lee Tae Ran is very tall and slim.
That's why she looked good in all her outfits including those which she wore at home. They were all so pretty.

acowen, Seonghui's safe is cleverly hidden and kept a secret from Jinseok.  After Jinseok chased her out, she will pack her suitcase with her gold bars and cash and pretend that she packed her clothes.

I am hoping against hope that Seonghui will somehow be on death's bed.  Seongjae will persuade his father to consent the harvesting of her heart for Jihyeok.

Jihyeok's sudden heart transplant issue is just a writer's ploy to jack up the ratings.

An episode for a character dying and agreeing to donate his/her heart to Jihyeok first.
Eunoh will cry for Jihyeok and she must rest her upper body on his hospital bed. Jihyeok wakes up and Eunoh says "Sarange a" and kisses his cheek. (He is not well enough for passionate kissing-his heart may stop).

Yes, it is absurd to write two transplants in one drama.
Write that Jihyeok becomes ill but, not seriously ill, is still acceptable.

There have been extensions of 2 episodes in an old drama What happens to my family. Can't recall the title of another one.
Let's watch how the story will be rushed to the ending.
I really hate rushed endings.

Then the Writer has to think of something else to have Jihyeok alive in episode 50.

Totally agree as I also love this drama.

I was thinking about the implications of getting a heart from a villain. It is more important for Jihyeok to live.
The Writer has run out of ideas for the next 8 episodes.
