The second character which could be developed is none other than Gyeongchae. Like you said, Gyeongchae and Seri should admit their wrong doings, seek forgiveness from Lucia and change their attitudes.
But writing an insane Gyeongchae meant there was no chance for her to redeem herself at all. She was incapable of feeling and understanding remorse and pain. She couldn't even recognise Seri and called her Miso.
Gyeongchae told Miso apparition that she would not have done so if she knew who she was. It meant she would not think twice of doing bad things to Miso if Miso were a stranger.
But it could be the insane Gyeongchae spouting nonsense.
You said it could be GyeongChae's comeuppance for her mental state now because of what she did to Sujeong. But I am more keen to watch her redemption and transformation to a better human being.
