I've noticed that Gyeongchae kept asking Seonjae to do bad, criminal work for her. Including the Chairman. Seonjae will surely go to jail in the end.

Manager Gong has some dark secrets? Earlier, I wrote that Manager Gong might be killed off by Lucia or Stella because of the poster.
Now that you mentioned dark secrets from Manager Gong... because she was so devoted to Gyeongchae's late mother, she could have killed Sujeong's biological mother!

There are quite a few matters which I don't understand. Like why did Gyeongchae not have Lucia "vanish" too.

Episode 53 will be exciting because Gyeongchae and Seonjae are planning to have her father removed as Chairman.

Following Yeonha was right but he should let Chairman be in the know that the all-important ledger went missing in his house first before rushing out to tail Yeonha. Normally, a person would inform the house owner before doing anything, right?

I feel that it was Chairman who taught Gyeongchae to become a monster. Remember he pressurised Gyeongchae to "crush" Seolhui and Miso "until they could not stand up".
Gyeongchae initially covered up the incident with a stand-in who was later jailed and offered compensation to Miso. But Seolhui rejected the compensation and persisted in pursuing Gyeongchae at Mingang Distribution office and even approached Chairman. That was how the Chairman knew about the incident and pressured Gyeongchae to "crush" mother & daughter.
Chairman Min is the culprit for how Gyeongchae turned out to be a monster.

No, she did not raise Gyeongchae. Manager Gong said when she started working at the Min's household, Gyeongchae was about the same age as Seri - 20 years old. She also said with teary eyes that although she did not give birth to Gyeongchae, Gyeongchae is like a daughter to her.
Now, I have a bad feeling that Manager Gong might be harmed by Lucia or Taejoo or Stella and even die later.

You re-watch the scenes between Jihyeok and Boah. And later that scene when Jihyeok was in Boah's father office.
I had to rewind because the subtitles appeared for a second only. I watched in viewasian.lol.

A scandal of sorts happened with Boah's ex-bf and herself or only Boah's ex-bf. She said no one would want to date her, let alone marry her.

Only a man can inherit her father's company but she is the only child. So the key point is no one would consider Boah as a marriage partner anymore.

I was puzzled that the second that Seonjae discovered the ledger was missing, why did he not tell the Chairman there and then? Then they could have questioned Manager Gong if anyone else was in the house. Joetoca, another plot device. 😄

Also, the Chairman could see Lucia grabbing the black bag from Seonjae and should question her why she was carrying such a bag which is not her usual bag.

This is only Lucia's second visit. Guests should never be allowed into the bedroom when the person is not in. Manager Gong is no match for Lucia.  She just need to flash her diamond ring and Manager Gong stepped aside obediently.
Lucia will torment Manager Gong when she becomes Mrs Min.

I cannot believe Lucia managed to go upstairs and easily enter Seri's bedroom.
Manager Gong could have followed Lucia as she went upstairs. 🙄

Something as important as the ledger of Chairman's slush funds was so easily stolen from the Chairman's house.
It is all Manager Gong's fault for allowing an outsider to enter the house frequently and gossip with her about the Mins.

After all the pulling and pushing, Lucia lost the bag twice but Seonjae was the most brainless. He is a man but he is not strong enough to hold onto a light bag tightly, resulting in Lucia snatching the bag easily from his hand. Oh my! 🫤

Alll this while, I cannot understand why he didn't sumply tell Gyeongchae & Chairman that he recognised Seolhui as Miso's mother. No need to say more.
Anyway, this is a plot device by the Writer, right? Because if Seonjae spilled the beans on Lucia, then, joetoca, there will be no drama for you and I to watch! 😄

I wonder if Gyeongchae will abandon Seonjae after he has "sorted out" Lucia.

Actually, Seolhui has no proof that Seonjae was Miso's biological father. Seonjae need not fear Lucia telling everyone that they were a couple more than 2 decades ago.

Seonjae should have informed Chairman and Gyeongchae that he recognised Lucia as Miso's mother. And they must get rid of her asap when he first spotted her.
Am I too simple-minded? 😄
