TE, length of time is not issue here but what Stella did i.e. abandonment of her baby son is the issue.  Seri, being an adult, is also not the issue.
Because Stella's base character is the issue.  She's ruthless to use toxic tonics to slowly do her multiple husbands in.  She abandoned her baby son.  She will teach Seri ruthlessness and other negative traits.  They dislike each other from Day One too.
A leopard does not change its spots overnight.

Yes! I have completely forgotten about Seri. But Seri has zero work experience. Chairman might think that as Lucia gets along so well with Seri, she would be willing to train her.

But another scenario is to give to Sujeong , the dark horse. She is Chairman's biological daughter and then have her train Seri.

Gyeongchae is likely out because Chairman said she is ruthless and will ill treat her siblings. But she is the most experienced and most qualified child to be Chairwoman. As Gyeongchae has told him, Chairman was the one who taught her to be ruthless all these decades, but he is blaming her now which is also very true.

Right! Lucia will be crowned the Chairwoman. However, how could the Chairman overlook the fact that Lucia has very little experience in managing a distribution company? Makes no sense that he chose his new wife who has little experience in running a distribution company to be the Chairwoman but his choice is based on the candidate's kindness.

Seolhui dealt with the assault of Miso poorly.  Gyeongchae offered compensation which was rejected by Seolhui.  And Seolhui repeatedly went to Mingang lobby to look for Gyeongchae and caused a commotion at the launch of their online business.  That was when Chairman scolded Gyeongchae for not dealing aggressively with Seolhui. And told her to crush them until they couldn't stand.
Gyeongchae reports to her father, and he threatened to remove her as the CEO.
She was under extreme pressure from her father. I am not saying that she was blameless but if the Chairman is your father, your hands are tied.  If anything, Chairman was at fault for exerting so much pressure on Gyeongchae to resolve Seri's assault case in an unethical way.

Seolhui has lost the most, that is, her beloved daughter.  But taking revenge is never right and will oftentimes become a backlash.  Thus, I hope this Writer will send a message in the end that two wrongs don't make a right.

Oh!  Manager Gong!  I don't know!
I want to be cheeky and say Chairman will pair up with her.

They are likely to marry out of convenience and then realise Chairman chose Lucia.  So Gyeongchae will go ballistic but I have a feeling she will slowly fall for Seonjae, maybe, at episode 119.😆

Sujeong:  @TooEmotional said she might become the Chairwoman.  I agree with her that the unthinkable might  happen.  I like unpredictability.

Leave the Min family and join Pansul and wife to help out in their restaurant.

Seri :  Many commenters said the same as you that Seri will leave for the US with Stella.
But I say Stella is unfit to take Seri away from Gyeongchae,  simply because she abandoned her baby, David, to marry a rich man.  Gyeongchae could have aborted Seri but she carried Seri to full term and delivered her.  She is never involved with another man until... maybe Seonjae, I cannot ascertain anything.  She did not have time to nurture Seri but she is absolutely not as unfit as Stella.
I hope that Seri will decide to stay with Gyeongchae and reject Stella's offer to bring her to the US.
