I've watched the raw episode 42.

The last few seconds was jaw-dropping. You may read my comment right at the top if you are curious. 😉

Vibs, we may never know the reasons for the Writer to be exhausted or why she had a writer's block. 
We can only speculate but I will not speculate....

I chose to watch this drama because of Uhm Ji Won and Ahn Jae Wook and also because this Writer has written a few enjoyable dramas.  I have invested about 6 months watching her drama.  I have never skipped an episode. 

When this Writer accepted this project, she knew the huge responsibility of writing 50 episodes and it was nothing new to her, but she was exhausted and had a mental block etc., (I am not saying she could not be exhausted.)

Then Ms Goo Hyun Sook, the Writer, should step up, explain and apologise to her South Korean and international viewers.  That could be hundreds of thousands of viewers.  That is the right thing to do.  Instead of the cast speaking for her, she should speak up for herself.

This is my opinion and I stand by it.

In the last few seconds of episode 42, Lucia has ingratiated herself with Gyeongchae! Gyeongchae will be very grateful to Lucia for saving Seri and will find it hard to get rid of Lucia now.
Gyeongchae may even give her father the greenlight to date Lucia. 😅
Lucia is one step closer to her goal of revenge. 😈

I did read a commenter's post here about how the two veteran leads commented that the Writer was having a hard time.  Ridiculous because this Writer has written a few dramas, she is not a newbie writer.

Thankfully, episode 54 made me as happy as a lark. 😄😄😄

Hope to see you in the next drama Comments Page although if it is disappointing, I might check out as I didn't enjoy Golden Life written the same Writer as upcoming Golden Days. 😉

Now I know why the Writer made Pansul attracted to Stella. Later when Stella realised Pansul has Mingang shares, 😄😄😄, she will use all her tricks and charm (maybe on her late husbands too) to seduce Pansul to persuade him to give her Mingang shares! 😯😁

Pansul said he would not return the collateral of Han something, who is Taegyeong's father. In fact, Pansul is unable to return the collateral as he exchanged the collateral with Chairman Min for Mingang shares. I don't think Pansul knows Taegyeong's parents are dead. 😲

Whether she will succeed or not, remains to be seen.

Episode 41 - Jakyung said her father has Mingang shares.

☆ Why would the Chairman give his son's father-in-law Mingang shares?
☆ Why did Pansul say he would not return Taegyeong's father's collateral?
☆ The collateral is Taegyeong's father's technology which Pansul might have exchanged for Mingang shares with Chairman Min. I don't think Pansul is aware Taegyeong's parents are already dead.

Very stressful episode 41.

Chairman is devious and cruel. He could have ordered the deaths of Taegyeong's parents too.

Great acting from Yoon Ah Jung aka Gyeongchae including Park So Yeon aka Seri. The shouting and screaming must be exhausting to do - it is not easy being an actor/actress.

Pansul has Mingang's shares as well? It is odd for the Chairman to give shares to his son's father-in-law. Something fishy must have happened between Chairman and Pansul for him to give shares to Pansul.
Something fishy like Taegyeong's father's collateral. 🤔

Is Manager Gong crazy, asking an outsider to bring fruits into the Chairman's bedroom? And he did not notice a stranger walking into his bedroom.

Yes! Juuuust before their lips touch, the camera moved 300m away. Why, oh why?
They also refused to let us watch Kangsoo and Bom kiss.

My chats with @lightcloudysky in the same comment thread just above - we are, of the opinion, that the Director deliberately directed Seri to hug Beomsoo in a shy manner. Because in episode 54, Seri hugged her father naturally and tightly as he stepped out of prison.

Happy that you enjoyed Eagle Brothers as well. No kdrama is perfect so I will accept flaws here and there. 😁

Oh! Beomsoo looked for Seri at a hotel as she filled in for a friend as a pianist.

Yes, Seri did hug Beomsoo very tightly with closed eyes. But thereafter all her hugs were "shy" and she did not wrap her arms around Beomsoo.

I was taken aback when comments were coming in that Beomsoo and Seri did not have any chemistry. The chemistry, to me, was deliberately watered down because of their lecturer and student relationship.

I cannot understand why the Writer wanted Seri to address Beomsoo as lecturer or teacher.

Viewers were also saying Ahn Jae Wook and Uhm Ji Won could have quarrelled because they did not have any chenistry, etc. I cannot see or feel the problem between Ahn Jae Wook and Uhm Ji Won.

If the actor/actress could not act properly because they had disagreements or whatnot, then they can retire as no one would offer them any job.

I did comment earlier the awkward hugs is deliberately planned by the Director and the reason, I think was because the Korean viewers are not receptive to lecturer and student relationship. I cannot think of amother possible reason. What do you think?

That was exactly how I felt about Iron Family.  It also got too complicated and unrealistic.  It was a letdown. 

But I did not get the "letdown" feeling from the last episode of Eagle Brothers.  As I have written earlier, it was so  heartwarming that my heart and stomach felt warm.

I will also miss Eagle Brothers despite its flaws.
