Ep 24 was an emotional rollercoaster to me. I laughed hard when Zhu zan was crying being drunk and then jiuling teased him while he asked how many husband does she have. It seems like the role is reversed, jiuling is always teasing zhu zan and he always feels shy. I loved how both lu yunqi and Zhu zan were at a loss when Childe Ning announced his engagement. Ning Yunzhao is such a gentleman But I am afraid if he and jiuling were to marry they will always talk and behave so formally with each other that it will be unbearable to me. Again his mother and sister are enough to make a person's life hell. I like how casual and comfortable zhu zan and jiuling are with each other. One thing I don't understand that does the elder sister knows about jiuling's identity? did she understood something?
Lu yunqi just creeped me out in ep 16. What funny is that he just showed his creepy behaviour to Jiuling unknowingly. Now she is undoubtedly disgusted by his behavioue. Here is the difference between Zhu Zan and Lu yunqi's love for jiuling. Zhu Zan truly wants to help jiuling's family in absence of her but it didn't take much time for lu yunqi to find jiuling's substitute. I think now yunqi will be trying to use jiuling's sister and brother to shutdown Jiuling drugstore.
To be honest I want to watch this because of YIXING but because of eng sub title I cant watch. In the comment section some people seem quite annoyed because many fans are watching this drama for Yixing and the 4 billion views it has got. I mean this drama has some really good actors like Hong lei, Yi jun etc. Personally, even if a drama has an average storyline but good acting then I would watch it.
I am totally in love with the drama and the fl, such a calculative and scheming fl. But I am a bit skeptical about the ml. Sometimes I like him or sometimes I am annoyed, Don't know if is it because of the character progression or the actor.

As someone who read the novel, I think the novel is way more intense than the drama. But I am satisfied with the drama, they have kept it simple and I can easily understand the plot. I have never seen the fl's (actress) dramas before now I regret it. Why didn't I know about this amazing actress before? I am totally up for this badass female lead who is level-headed, cool, intelligent and beautiful.
This drama is cute and fluffy but quite realistic. I normally don't watch high school dramas cause most of them seems to follow the same type of storylines . Honestly this drama isn't much different but it's quite different because of the the characters. Neither ML is the typical 'cold-genius-I don't care who you are but I am superior' nor FL is the typical 'Dumb-bad student-ignorant' type of characters. Ml is sweet, caring, helpful, not rude and encouraging ; Fl is hard-working and not ignorant or dumb. I watched almost 10 episodes and couldn't stop smiling because of the sweetness and chemistry between them.
Not gonna lie but at first I felt a little bit uneasy seeing Cheng Xiao's acting because to be honest her acting is not very good. I was afraid that she would get malicious comments. She is a very talented person and an all rounder but in case of acting she is a rookie. This is her, i guess second drama and she is improving. Comparing to ep 1 she bacame more relaxed and normal at the later episodes. But I also think that Cheng Xiao is the best choice for tong yao's role cause she looks cute and cool at the same times.
As a reader of the novel, at first I was a bit disappointed at some certain changes. But after watching 9 episodes I am actually satisfied and happy. It is so funny and the particular moments that I liked in the novel are being aired so it's satisfying. Besides the cast's visual is sooooo good that I keep repeating a few times. But Xu Kai as Cheng ge is the best match, he is a total tsundere. This drama deserves more ratings bec this is a light drama, there isn't any angst or major misunderstandings, it will make you happy. after watching a lot of heavily plotted kdramas, this drama is my stress realiver.
I honestly thought that they would keep tong yao as cool as she is in the novel. But in the drama they are making her look like an immature amature who only does things as she wishes. Then making lao k so cold that it makes me uneasy. As a fan of the novel, I think there are some changes which was completely not necessary. They made fl's mother very strict in the novel she was so funny . I know the novel isn't perfect but they shouldn't make unnecessary changes.
Eh he, I don't think lao k liked tong yao. In the novel they showed more chemistry between lao k and lao mao. They are showing unnecessary coldness in lao k which is just frustrating me.
Honestly I really like the casts but I really am not feeling the drama, I don't feel any anticipiation for the next episodes. The plot is good but I thinks they couldn't create the vibe that much. There was another drama with almosr the same kind named "you are my hero". To be honest the plot wasn't a masterpiece but everything else was mindblowing. The rescue scene from the first episode was so intense that it hooked me in the drama but in dear my guardian the rescue scene looked hasty and not intense. It's just my own opinion but I can't feel the vibe here.
Still didn't have the chance to watch this masterpiece, but the ost album is just soooo good. As expected from the multi-talented idol, Chanyeol from Exo. We miss you, Chanyeol.
