Fun but I hoped for more

After hearing a lot of hype for this, I decided to check it out. First 4 episodes are fantastic, high tempo thriller that keeps the tension, two great leads and great cast in general. OST really stuck in my mind as well. Then I think drama tried to do way too much. There is way too many plot twists and turns to the story that it overcomplicates storylines for no reason and draws attentions away from the main plot. The romance between the leads has both ups and downs for me. The chemistry is there, but significant age difference really bothered me sometimes, maybe because the female lead has a baby face and looks even younger age than she actually is. Also when it comes to romance, the writers sometimes write it very childlishly as if teens were falling in love and not two adults, when the romance is shown in a mature way that's where it shines.
The finale doesnt stick the landing. It feels as if the show run out of stream and they still needed one more episode.
Overall its a fun watch, but nothing more.

Truly the best Thai gl to date

This series snuck up on me, I started it without any expectations and fell in love with the characters and the storyline. The story is very engaging, sometimes wild as well, but I think what keeps this series on the rails are two main actresses with their performances, you can feel their every emotion and their chemistry just warmed my cold, dead heart.
This is probably why this GL feels so different to any other, because a lot of them makes you cringe and acting feels like a school play at best. That's why casting is so important.

Love that gives you strength to be the best version of yourself

The drama about different types of love and how lack of it impacts one's life. The story about a girl with heartbreaking past and a guy, who loves her with every fiber of her body. Great performance from both leads that show the depth of the characers.
I'm especially impressed with the female lead, who shows the journey of the girl with walls all the way up, closed down to the outside world to the girl that loves fiercely and lives her life without fear, in a very heart-touching portrayal. There is great attention to detail in this show, from how the characters dress (male lead always wear black at the beginning and then starts to wear brighter colors as the story progresses) to in which light on which side of the screen the characters are shown.
The drama is accompanied with a great soundtrack that sets the mood for the show beautifully.
My favourite of 2025 so far.

Superb crime thriller

The incredibly well done crime thriller with great, detailed writting and fantastic acting. The journey of the heroes is an emotional arc that pulls you right in, meanwhile the villains' extreme cruelty in a quietest moments is what makes them the scariest. They are not caricatures. Overall theme of the story is also how trauma affects those who experienced it and Zhao Jinmai as a girl who went from a traumatic experience to becoming a cop and helping others is very well highlighted.
The ending could have been done better thats why its 9/10 for me and not 10/10.

All about testing limits

A show that is full of challenges testing the physicality of the players involved. I don't think there is a way for the challenges to be suited to all the contestants and sometimes a lot of them get eliminated before they can even show their strength.
Watching the show as a light entertainment and having fun with various challenges and obstacles that players need to overcome is a way to go, because while looking deeply into it the audience can see the obsession with body image and how men always see women as inferior to them in this type of environment. I would rather see separate competition for men and women so both can be appreciated instead of pushing women to the margins only to be able to say: "anybody can compete in this show". It's hard to like some of the contestants, because they come out as very self-absorbed and self-centered. The show cleverly makes use of team games as means to show the audience a different side to the competitors and it's very much appreciated. Overall, it's a fun watch.

Warmth of found family

This GL series is more of a family drama than a romance. The show focuses on what makes a family, how family can cause traumas to their memebers and how found family aspect in life helps people grow. I think the emotional weight of the story is there and it really touches audience's heart. The growth of characters is visible and their paths are clear. I think, where the series stumbles, is tying the whole story together, the story of one family, the story of other family and the romance, it sometimes feels very disjointed. The actresses have good chemistry, but the love story moves way too quickly and then it's put on pause when family stuff takes over. On the acting front, the series does fairly well in general, although, some emotional scenes especially, could have had more heft.
Overall, it's an enjoyable show, but it could have been a brilliant show if the pacing was better and the stories connected smoothly.

Cringy romantic comedy with fascinating dystopian underbelly

At first, the series didn't grab me at all, the specific way of overacting and the overall cringiness of the comedy got on my nerves more than ever. What kept me watching and engaged in the show, was its dystopian background and the storyline that touches the world-building aspect of the show. The love story of it didn't work for me, but I enjoyed the commentary beneath the facade of the dystopia that makes the audience think and how the reversing of gender roles makes the story even more impactful, because unfortunatelly being desensitized to the treatment of women (the way the men are treated on the show) is very common. Overall, it is an interesting series, I just wish it leaned more into the thriller and mystery parts of it instead of comedy and romance.

Fun and light entertainment

The reality show that brings a group of actors together. They compete against eachother in a set of challanges and games while also sightseeing the places they are visiting. The series is divided into 2 parts, the first 4 episodes have one group of actors, the other 4 episodes have another group. It's fun and entertaining without putting to much pressure on the cast. I had a great time watching. It could have bit done better and random product placements are quite annoying, but the show has its own charm and that's whats it's all about.

Sweet, comforting reality show

The show that brings 3 group of actors, who worked together on a drama and makes them compete against eachother in a series of fun games and challenges. A very comforting watch that provides light entertainment and a lot of heart-warming friendships and connections. It is very well orginized and various activities highlight different members of teams.
Sometimes it can be a bit cringy and overly sweet, but that's the beauty of it.
Enjoyable overall.

A confusing, sometimes entertaining mess

The show that doesn't truly know, which identity to choose for itself, which results in a very weird tone of the series.
It has very, very over-the-top slapstick comedy, especially at the beginning, which didn't really work for me. Later on, it gets a bit better, but when this type of comedy, zombie apocalypse and the romance that suppose to be highlighting how hard it is for relationship to survive, when the guy is going through mandatory military training, get thrown in together, it is way to much and the storylines are not coherent at all. Finding new ways of killing zombies and escaping from them by the characters is the only saving grace of this show and I very much enjoyed the combination of comedy and gore there.
The acting is a hit or miss for me. It sometimes feels like actors do not match each other and that results in probably even weirder tone of the show overall.
The ending clearly suggest that the show can continue, but I won't be watching anymore of it. Waste of time.

Action Manhwa comes to life

The story about a boy that really wants to study, but all his skills are physical, in fighting. A great show that gives us his journey through finding friends and his worth outside of studying as well as fighting for better future for everyone.
The series is well-written and well-acted (great casting), the highlight are the fight scene made in a true "manhwa comes to life" style that makes them seem supernatural. The soundtrack of this drama is also so well-fitting and complements the overall vibe of the series. Highly recommended.

Medical drama mixed with action comedy

This drama can remind people about Doctor House, the confident self-absorbed doctor with exceptional skill. For me, it has the trapping of that drama, but its made in a very specific style of Korean action comedy. It's fast pacing keeps the audience engaged the whole time and the found family aspect of creating the trauma center squad makes the viewers bond with the characters quickly. It also engages with forever present issue of our times "when health care system is run like a capitalistic business patients suffer".

Enjoyable makjang

A great, well-made makjang with crazy plot twists, highten emotions, actors that fit their roles like gloves and a well-paced story that keeps the viewers engaged the whole time.
I loved the female lead and how she learns her worth throughout the drama, the support that she gets from male lead's family (mother and grandmother especially) is amazing to see. Male lead that just wants to help her in her crazy revenge plan and is there for her every step of the way works fantasically for this type of series. Their chemistry is fantanstic as well. What a fun watch that was.

Avoid spoilers and enjoy the show.

This series keeps you on your toes the whole time, well-paced engaging story, well fleshed out characters played by very good actors (great chemistry between the leads) and narrative that is well planned out as well.
If you watch it the second time you can also judge how well certain parts play out when you know the ending. It must be said tho that avoiding spoilers is necessary to enjoy this show the most during the first watch, it keeps you guessing and fully engaged until the end.
Female lead is the one that shines the most for me here.

A drama that is like a warm hug

A drama series with straight forward plot and message as well as very solid pair of leads to go with it.
The show is nothing groundbreaking, but does the story that they want to show very well.
The message is clear: "like what you like, enjoy things that makes you happy". Two main leads have clear narrative arcs and very sweet natural chemistry. I really enjoyed Moon Ga-young as the female lead and her character in general, a girl that was bullied in school and lost her mom young and that shaped her into the determined woman, who works hard, has clear principles and is always there for her family. Both leads go through the path of seeing each other's perspective and grow together as well as separetely as individuals. The second couple, that is shown is contrast to the lead, works very well here too, difficulties of the "more adult" relationship is on display. There are, of course, things that could have been done better, example here is the character of grandma, her initial behaviour and her redemption arc that is very cartoonish. Overall, I think the series deserves a lot of praise for the script, acting and direction. I highly recommend it for people that want to watch something heart warming and comedic.
