yall just talk for talking sake, they gave him 0 importance? how YOUKU literally released a CP version of TPR which means they took away everyone else and guess what ? it has 30 episodes, yall cried that 2nd lead had way more screen time when we barely saw him until the last few episodes which makes sense as the antagonist of the show. and for our generation there was just one promotion and most of the cast were there, the SML was from ZLH’s company too and they gave him more storyline than he should have. ZLH read the script, even last week he said that’s the script he’s related to the most. he was happy to be JQX, the book is called cherry Amber which means it was from her point of view. Zhang Jingyi was the FL in legend of Zang hai and she had way less screen time, her fans didn’t complain and she was on set for over 8 months. This is ZLH’s first Noom production so it’s a good advantage for him, I hope his fans don’t scare away other major production for their narrow minded view.

both leads aren’t too old, FL is 22, 3 years ago she was a teenager, go ahead FL was 26 no one said anything, hidden love FL was 23 not a single word.

This is what I’m saying, they were a couple so it makes sense to have a CP and they didn’t even capitalise on it. In dune 1 Zendaya showed 3 times but her pictures were everywhere but because we read the book we knew she would barely show. They said they cut ZLH’s part forgetting his parts that was cuteness all with jinmai too.

Is English your second language? Everyone is pissed about the whole editing as it made both characters look bad. TPR was good I didn’t even notice anything until fans like you started saying SL had more screen time which wasn’t true. His screen time only increased at the last couple of episodes which makes sense since he’s the villain.
Let’s hope he takes a one man show like Legend of Zang hai where FL appeared very little and it was all about ML

The most annoying part is ZLH’s fan saying maimai used him for promo and i’m wondering what promo exactly? Because there was just one appearance. No CP photoshoot, no variety show nothing. They said SL in TPR had more scenes like how ???? We barely saw him until the last 3 episodes. It’s like they want him to take dramas where all focus would be on him then he needs to take a role like legend of Zang hai 🤷🏽‍♀️

When you come across such, you need to remind them that only 4 actors and actress’s have broken the heat index across 3 major platforms . Zhao liyin, Esther Yu , Bai jintin and Zhao jinma and she did at 22. For the first half of the year she was the only actress on iqiyi to get 10k heat index and she did it with just 14 episodes , the best thing couldn’t even break 8k5

You lot are making it seem like FL used him, if we’re being honest there’s been only one promo for this drama, no haarper bazaar photoshoot, no variety show nothing. Just one promo with the cast. The whole drama is about FL basing her life on him. Which is why we wished they didn’t cut so many scenes away. This is a noom production regardless it’s a big deal for ZLH. Everyone saying they’re fighting for him hasn’t changed anything but would make some entertainment houses think twice about considering him.

Like I said earlier, it’s a production issue. But right from time if you read the book his screen time only increased after she went to hongkong, so many people watch for the story, some watch for CP and some watch ZLH. People who finished it like me enjoyed it even though I wish they edited it better. They made both characters look bad. JQX looked toxic and LQL looked obsessed. What I don’t get is the attack on FL.

is ZJM is the director or producer? in the interview I saw he said he wanted to participate in the project and was excited to, if you read the book you’ll discover it was mostly about the FL. what I hated about the whole drama was the way it was chopped up. they didn’t wrap up JQX’s story properly. even the FL was made to look like an obsessive little girl. in the best thing it was more centred to him as he’s the top billed cast. one thing I would say is our generation showed ZLH’s acting strength and that he could portray emotional scenes. I wonder why both fans are blaming each other as if the power doesn’t rely on the producers. daylight entertainment is a big deal if the drama does well it adds to ZLH stats

there was no time he had less screen time than SL except you didn’t watch it. we barely saw SL until the last 3 episodes. And for OG the whole story was FL’s pov. he read the script and loved it and decided to bid for it im sure you don’t know better than him

The drama ommitted so much which made it look like that. JQX was very much obsessed with cherry. He was so ashamed when his family lost everything he went from buying cherry chanel and ferragamo to not being able to afford rent

Guys, I’m so pissed at the level of vitriol they’ve thrown against cherry amber and Zhao jinmai. many blogs are writing terrible stuffs criticising the drama you could tell they never saw it. I thought it ended on Weibo until I saw a TikTok page that posts everyday about how bad it is and praise coroner’s diary everyday( I’m watching and I enjoy both dramas) but it’s just insane
