the trope might be but the plot and execution certainly have it's difference. it depends on what you're into. this isn't a show that you have to take all that serious, but can if you want too. also the actors are good, not masters but not bad. i'd say it's worth it's rating. down-sides: not enough episodes for the story not make you infer and use your own imagination to fill in the gaps. hope this helped :)

It's kind of jarring to see [in a refreshing way] to characters being so openly pda, which makes sense for their characters and for real life, as I'm used to other characters only kissing twice in the last two episodes and a *maybe* a rom-com fall on the bed and magically it's the next day sequence, if the vibe fits but this is nice, I also like how they have taught they're kid properly that different people love different people so the whole, "wHat iF wE cOnFusE tHem" phrase isn't used. Like as a kid, there was this lesbian couple and some people were worried on how to break it to me but I was more worried on the fact they got married on a Wednesday then anything else because I was taught love is love and I found no problem in it.
