I'm sorry, were they TRYING to make Ki Sub unlikeable? After just episode one I cannot stand him! 😩
why do you do you not like him? Do you find him pushy or inconsiderate? To me, I know some of his actions are a bit off but I just see it as him being a big dummy. He certainly needs better insight, especially about his feelings, but (up until ep 2 at least) he is pretty wholesome bc of his simple mindset. Ends up just giving big himbo energy honestly. Hope he does grow and learn during the show though.
This is very good, the actors are amazing, cinematography is pretty, writing is solid and keeps the excitement up. The world is mostly fleshed out and the characters interact in a refreshing and honest way. But be warned, it could be *very* triggering (child abuse and suicide). It is fun and romantic but very violent and dark as well.
This is so good already, i think he was pushed i don't think he committed suicide. Seeing fl that night must have…
I agree! And I also think he was the one who saved her when she had the accident that paralyzed her. That's why her mother was so weird when she asked about it. I just want to know where the delinquent ex-crush fits in the present... we've seen everyone but him 🧐
i'm just on ep 1 and it is adorable! The actors, the vibe and cinematography are just so good! one nitpick though, am I the only ome that was bothered she didn't mix the rice before eating the bibimbap? XD
This is one of those cute ones that you need to turn your brain off to enjoy. The actors are cute, their chemistry is good and the whole vibe of their characters is fluffy. Although one thing that bugged me is that this drama does normalize an unhealthy relationship with alcohol (frequent and heavy drinking is seen in a good light, a way to enjoy life) so if that's triggering for you, I would advise you not to watch.
Hi darlings, I'm realtively new to Japanese BLs. I started watching with the Drama Shower.Do you mind suggesting…
I second Kieta Hatsukoi, it's adorable and has some amazing healthy teen friendship rep. Also, really recomend Old Fashion Cupcake and Cherry Magic, they have older leads so there's space for more mature heartfelt moments but there's coziness too.
IKR. I was so excited when I found out that there is a lgbt+ character. But his fate was tragic. Like he was well…
Yes! It's like they want to seem progressive/ realistic by having lgbtq+ representation but they don't want to upset or be criticised by the more conservative demographic/culture so they shine a negative light on both characters. It's so cliche and saddening.
*Ending rant* be warned! This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. The writing is fenomenal. The plot is so engaging and even though it has so many dark themes, every episode leaves you with a hopeful feeling. The characters are complex and interesting and they are written in such a way that you can connect and empathise with so many of them it's incredible! The realationship dynamics and humour are also amazing! All the actors were so great at portraying their characters as well! The only thing that bothered me was haerongie/looney/hanyang's horrible ending, I mean, all of the main 'good' characters got an open ending or a good ending except for him . I just don't see why! Even the bald guy that tried to KILL our main lead like three or four times got a hopeful open ending and the only good lgbt+ character gets one of the worst things that could be written!?! I don't understand! They didn't even give him a chance to go to rehab! Jail isn't a cure for drug addiction and he was trying so hard... It isn't fair what the writers did to his character. There were only two important lgbt+ characters in this drama and one was the worst person ever and the other got the worst ending ever, that doesn't make me feel good.
Here's the link to the subbed webdrama on the official channel I don't know what it's called sorry~ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IEjaF8YLHmc&list=WL&t=0s&index=50
This Drama had the most satisfying wrap up I have ever watched! I really liked it! A lot lighter and fluffier than I was expecting though. I thought that in the last episodes they would do a more complex and thrilling case with a build up that would tie loose ends from the beginning but it was very simple and linear. Still good for what it was.
Also, that house is BEAUTIFUL
