So true each episode is a whole hour long and little dialogue I can look at my phone and a whole 10 minutes goes past because all they are doing is staring,whispering and mumbling etc I’ve never seen such a bland kdrama couple like really bland and the intimate moments were awkward like that was very time they ever kissed every time like give spice and movement

That’s literally how actual shows have been since forever it’s not a trend

Yeah so far the drama isn’t bad (I’m on ep 7) but it’s a bit slow and more background listening show like I can come back 10 minutes and still know what’s going on, not a on your feet wanting more drama in my opinion very simple and light drama.

I’m comparing a kiss in the drama doesn’t matter if it’s a high school drama if the kiss was lacking or just bad it is what it is there’s no certain way you have to kiss when your high school either and in the secretary Kim it was there first kiss as well in the show.

Secretary Kim and true beauty have the same age rating, secretary Kim is not a adult drama nor a melodrama I don’t know where you got that the show was romantic comedy

Yeah I’ve scenes highschool dramas where the kiss was like secretary kim and I never said that kiss was bad because it was soft I’ve seen stunning soft gentle kisses on kdramas before but your entitled to your opinion I personally thought it could of been better just because they are in highschool doesn’t mean the kiss has to be like that

I’m not bitter “my ship” is sinking I can care less about that at the end of day, the show is lacking so much and what your saying literally doesn’t excuse anything about how the show could of been way more solemn and further with the subjects they are giving, what’s the point of mentioning what shows you watching you think that makes you more “qualified” or something no that doesn’t change anything

Right and for some reason the kiss felt so rushed and random I’m not even sure why it’s episode 8 half way through the show but I didn’t feel like Suho and Jugyeong had enough chemistry and build for me like every episode went quick and felt like Jugyeong was falling on Suho doing puppy eyes and Suho stalking her and gate keeping her randomly.

“Too boring” that’s just you personally the webtoon was not boring if it was it wouldn’t have gotten a show and one of the most popular webtoons that’s not a excuse you don’t make fun and cringe “quirky” out of serious issues I’m guessing you never heard of melo kdramas, social issue kdramas, Drama- kdramas. This show is mediocre and definitely could of been better.

Sorry but the kiss was bad af definitely seen worse tho and ive seen kdramas that had better kisses (What’s what’s with secretary Kim is a example I’m surprised you haven’t watch that it’s hella popular) that kiss was filmed with bad angles and stiff with little feeling of chemistry and desire shown, yeah the whole ear rubbing but even that looked awkward in my opinion

Right they should of made the show more serious as well, they make serious moments cringe and “funny” and they totally just did seojuns so dirty with taking a lot of scenes and giving them to Suho so irritating when he was the main lead in the webtoon as well with a real backstory and major character development

Right I really dislike that at least make the adaption follow the basic plots of the webtoon they literally should of just named the show something else with different character names nobody would care. I wish they made the show more serious as well there’s too many moments they make cringe and “funny” when it’s actually serious

The mom is so crappy and mean I can’t stand her so toxic she’s a big part of reason why Joo gyung was depressed and SUICIDAL
