What's wrong in marriage announcement??
I know well how Korean celebs are treated, both actors and idols, so you don't have to explain especially on irrelevant things to the topic. I know how creepy and unhealthy it is and I don't justify it.

I said about my nationality to avoid misunderstandings like "you just live in Korea, that's why you don't see a problem". I'm from the other country with almost completely different culture, so I don't witness things luke that irl

I never said that korean showbiz is healthy or that being dictated who to date is normal. I only said that wedding thing in Korean culture look more social and public than in the West, for example, or than in my country. It looks like a big deal even for normal people let alone celebrities.

So, IMO announce a WEDDING is totally okay. Not date news but a marriage.

What's wrong in marriage announcement??
I feel like weddings in SK are very social event, not like in West. They invite even their co-workers, bosses, not just relatives and friends. Also, ceremonies are different.
So, I don't see anything wrong in announcing their wedding as she's a public person
I see it wrong when people try to interfere in someone's relationship or demand details but when they announce it themselves, why not

Just in case, I'm not Korean, I look at their life from the outside
