I don't think that's the case. There are other comedy dramas based on manga that, in my opinion, have better actings for example: from 5 to 9, hotaru no hikari, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, Ai Ore.......

I have the same opinion as you! WHY THIS OVERACTING?! These days a lot of jdramas have this crap of acting, like Good Morning Call, Suki na Hito ga iru koto and Heroine Shikkoku.

Actually, till ep4 these were the only similar points. But the plot is different. It's just the exagerated comedic tone from the main actress that sometimes bothers me. But still, it's a good watch. :)

Is it just me who thinks that there's a lot of influence from Hotaru no Hikari? The poorly copied comedic expressions/movements from Ayase Haruka by Kiritani Mirei and even the Loach Dance in ep.2. Sometimes it kind of bothers me... :/
