Hello which streaming site are you watching this on? it says Disney plus but I don't see it there
I use Norton VPN and "traveled" to Honk-Kong. It only worked on my computer tho, when I tried to cast on my tv it didn't work because my network knows my location and is not influenced by the VPN. Hope it helped :)
Omg! I just found out about this movie and I'm so happy ! I can't believe I'll get to see them reunited after 12 years, but...FINALLY ! And the trailer looks really promising too, can't wait !!!
This is the most tropy romance drama I've ever seen (as someone who's watched almost every Hana Yori Dango/BOF…
I wish there's no S2 because I don't like where this is going : unnecessary angst and break-up. Because we know that's what is going to happen when Max and Deib find out uncle Boyet was on team that shot Dale, even though he stayed and probably called the ambulance. It's not something easily forgivable
This is the most tropy romance drama I've ever seen (as someone who's watched almost every Hana Yori Dango/BOF remakes that's saying something), and I cringed a lot, but still liked it more than I though I would ^^ The support characters/couples are cute & funny, and I wish we knew more about their stories.
I agree with the previous comments, the drama is kind of a mix between BOF and Cinderella with a twist, and is enjoyable to watch if you like that kind of trope. I did. However I wish it ended there and there's no season 2
I've never been so angry after watching a cdrama before. Series wants to be light and fluffy then stay that way.…
Thank you for talking about that, I was so mad !! Everything was pretty well balanced at the beginning of the drama, and then the scriptwriters f*** up ! I get that the depression/PTSD part is also in the novel, but they should have realised that it would not work on screen without explanations, especially when the original author is part of the screenwriting team. Moreover it appears so late in the drama that it's completely useless to the plot.
If you're reading this comment and you're thinking of starting this drama, don't. I tried. Really hard. Twice. It was unbearable both times and I finally gave up. There is no chemistry at all between the leads. ML character is painfully childish for a CEO and FL character is one of the most ungrateful person I've ever seen. And the actress is just not good enough. I get that it's her first time and she's a rookie, but maybe she can start with a supporting role ? I love a good romcom filled with tropes, but this upsets me too much to try to watch it again.
Thank you for this well written article and for highlighting what I think is a hidden really good drama. Coincidentally I binge watched it yesterday, so your article is right on time for me ^^ You explained everything very well, especially the plot holes that are obvious if you haven't read the novel (but which didn't really bother me that much). The drama is not perfect but is proof that it's possible to wrap up an interesting storyline with a low budget, in 16 episodes, without dragging with unnecessary fillers. Probably one of the best dramas of 2021. I hope we get to see more original dramas like this, and I'll get to read your articles about them :)
